I was so excited when I checked my tracking and saw it was "Out for Delivery" I went to my one class today and came straight home not leaving for NOTHING!!!

It was reallllllly easy to assemble and came with the necessary hair net and all. I've been waiting to do my mid-week wash for today. I'm kinda lazy and feeling a wet wrap, but I soooooooo gotta do a rollerset with my new Pibbs!

I just want to thank ya'll for the info and knowledge. All the money I save on going to the hair dresser is sooooo paying for the Pibbs!

You will love it! I have the 512 which isn't much different from the 514 according to the manufacturer (Pibbs) and I LOVE it! It gets my hair dry in 30 minutes and I always come out looking as if I'd gone to the stylist on my wash days and the days after. Enjoy! She IS worth every penny.

It was so nice that it came with a hairnet too because I didn't have one of my own when mine came and had forgot to purchase one...so it came in handy and I was able to use it on the same day it arrived.

I ordered mine from American Beauty Equipment Supplier. They have great deals on a lot of Beauty Equipment including the Pibbs dryer(s). 'Rob O' the owner-- is very nice. It's best to call them to place your order. They are in Chicago.

When my hair is long enough to hold a decent rollerset...around APL that is what I am treating myself to. I believe that they give you the best rollersets ever!!!!!

Never mind my original message, I found the site American Beauty Equipment Supplier and I see the 514, 512, & 510. I wounder what is the difference? I thinking of getting the 510.

I don't know about the 510 but I was told by Rob O that there is no difference between the 512 and 514. They both have timers. I think the only difference is that the 514 has actual temp settings while the 512 just has the High/Med/Low with little points in between each setting. I always use the Warm (Med) setting and it always dries in 30 minutes. I don't stay under any longer than 40 minutes.
I was going to purchase the 514 at first but when I called they didn't have any available to ship right away. I did not want to wait for it...lol. So when he told me that there was absolutely no difference in how the two dryers operate or drying time I ordered the 512.

AHHHH!!!! My only "Nikos cousin moment" first post!!! I'm d*mn near more excited about your post than my baby Denise! :lachen:

Yeah, I've already named her DENISE!!

I got the 512 for the reasons listed above by Energee.. basically the same dryer for cheaper than the 514

After shipping and all it was at my house for $211... It was gonna cost me $289 before tax at Sally's.. I'm SOOOOO HAPPY I looked around online before I handed over my debit card

I'm sitting under Denise now with my rollerset: my back doesn't hurt, she's quiet, and she's not burning the hell outta my neck!

Thanks for the congrats ladies... It felt good even DCing with Denise I can't wait to see how our rollerset comes out.
