my roommate just got her's cut like that. It's very cute, but it'll set you back iin progress, and it's h*** to grow out. maybe you could get a longer version with a little less layering, or if you really just want to do it; then do it. it's hair and it will grow back

Everytime I got my hair cut, the turn of each summer, I would always get this style... in a bob fashion. It is a FIERCE cut, if done right and styled right. I always got compliments and people still ask me when I'm going to get it cut again. I'm tempted too girl.

It's worth the pain of growing out to me. Back in high school I got one side short and the other longer. I see that style is back now. My yearly cuts were always tapered in the back and longer on the sides and front. My sides and front NEVER grow so my back always catches up and passes by the winter time which is when I'd wear it longer.

I recently caught a glimpse of MC Lyte on TV with an assymetric but it was for 2 seconds. I can't seem to find pics. Her hair STAYS tight, no matter what style she wears

i did not cut it YET. I'll try to find the style I like and post it later.

My hair grows super fast on the right side and extremely slow in the back. So I figured I could cut the right side the shortest. I do want the peek-a-boo cut in the back.

I would just get a weave for now to be on the safe side. Everytime I want to cut my hair I get one, then 2 weeks later I realize that I don't want short no mo'!

I know that's right!! I'm weaving it up for this style. As cute as it is, I know I'll be happy for 2 weeks and then get upset that I cut my hair. I'll be getting a full sewin to get that effect.

yep, that's cute. I'd make it a bit shorter on the short side.
