Go for the growth! I'm a newbie and was never big on weaves before but:

1. Yours looks great and so natural
2. It would be a great protective style

I'm considering getting braids or a weave for the first time in my life for the summer.

i must add that i am soooo jealous that you were able to find a weave that matches your natural so perfectly

Me too If I could find one I would keep my hair in sew ins till I get to my goal

girl go for the sew-in..you know how to take care of your own hair underneath it all.

I also like low manip. styles too.. so I will probably be getting some kinky twists in about a month or so! Kinky twists is my favorite protective style.
