Ladies, I have decided to purchase a FHI and I am online now trying to pick one but not too sure what to get. I know I want one with variable heat settings and not fixed. I think a 1 inch will work for my hair but beyond that I am lost. There are so many to choose from. I rather not spend $200 on this thing, I don't have to have the most exspensive or fanciest one just one that does the job. I was willing to but one from one of the members here but I don't see anyone selling thiers right now. I am not one to use a flatiron on the regular, this will be strictly for touching up when needed. Any advice you ladies can give is so appreciated. Thanks.

Girl, get a 207RVI. You can get them for $70 (or less - check Ebay) and they are good. Variable temp control and all.

Thanks girl. I see a few on ebay but they are more that $70. I will keep looking. I want to get it ASAP, do you know of any online stores I can trust that will ship fast?

I think this is the iron used by the last stylist who made hair look relaxed....is this one better than the Chi?

I have the FHI Heat iron with the variable temp control. It's really nice. I will be purchasing their Runway iron next.

i got mine from frizzy2silky.com. it's on sale for $65.54 plus shipping

Oh thanks, I will go on their site right now. Did it take long for you to get it, if I order today do you think I can get it by Friday? How do you like it fo far if you have tried it yet.

I have seen the Runway, I am taking baby steps first. I can't afford that bad boy any way. I have the Maxi Glide which I use on my daughter and although it works great, it is the most awkward thing to work with. The cord tangles too which I hate. I took her to get her hair done and they used a FHI and the results were awesome. That is all my stylist uses on my hair too.
