Lengthy Strands. Had half jar left. Trashed it. My hair hated it.
Shedavi
Protein conditioner. Formula changed. Will mix it with the rinse out to use it up. Not repurchase.
Leave -in Makes my hair dry. How is that possible? Leave-ins are the bane of my existence. They never work. May just trash it.
Good morning. Here is something a stylist recently shared with me. Maybe give it a try before trashing.

She stated that if my hair did not feel soft, hydrated, etc. after the leave-in, my hair may need more hydration for a while. She recommended clarifying then using a hydrating shampoo, conditioner and leave-in for a couple of washes and not just moisturizing products.

You want them to say hydrating and have the hydrating ingredients in the top 5...glycerin, aloe, honey, hyaluronic acid, etc. If there are oils and butters they should be way down on the list.

I tried it and notice a difference immediately.

Thanks for the info! I think my hair is definitely dehydration.

I added aloe gel and glycerin to it. Seems to work better!

For February, I finished up 4 items. 2 full sizes and 2 sample sizes. I did not bring anything in and today actually marks 7 weeks with no haircare purchases.

I'm doing a theme for March, which is Mini Madness. I'm going to try to use up as many mini and travel sized items as I can. I have at least 20, but I think I should shoot for 7 empties of those. My follow up derm appointment is Thursday so I may have to buy something but I doubt it. I have a full sized shampoo and 2 leave-ins on their last leg so my final goal for the month will be 10 items finished.

You don't have to list all of them. You can just list what you want to use up this week or this month...whatever gets you started.

@Angel of the North
That's good to know, I feel like I need to list all of them so that I can see the full extent of my problem lol, and work out what needs to be used first. I hate throwing stuff so I'm going to attempt to use it up. I don't think I'll be able to put a time line on individual products, but I will figure out what I want gone by the end of the year.

I used up one of the sample conditioners. I'm close to using up the hair milk. It will be gone definitely by the end of March.

I purchased a Camille Rose Honey Leave-In. I tried it once and I'm not sure if it is going to work out. So now I've got that leave-in, in my stash. I will try it during the summer.

I bought the Paul Mitchell Conditioner (leave-in) because I know I will need a leave-in after the Coco & Eve is gone. And I am trying an idea of using two leave-ins and a hair milk for styling. I like the Paul Mitchell. So when I use up the Coco & Eve, I think I will try the Paul Mitchell with a spray leave-in.

I'm not feeling being bothered with my hair so I need to settle in that I might not use things up too quickly.

I switched over to my 4C Only products and that covers every step in my regimen. So far I like them and if all goes well I will use them for the next 3 months. So I don't see myself using up much of anything unless I decide to switch back to my CoCo&Eve regimen.

Will update at the end of the month.

Do you prefer the 4c Only products over your others?

I bought the CRN spiked honey mousse and found it very sticky, it made my hair so gunky I had to wash and restyle. I used it for a roller set and it was amazing! No stickiness either when used this way.

I think it is too early to tell I just started using it the past few weeks. I want to give it about 2 months. They say on the website to expect changes over time.

I know what you mean about the honey mousse. The videos I watched they put it on so easy. It acted like I put gel on my hair. Im pretty sure it would be great for a wng under a gel but it needs a lot of water.

I would not have imagined it would work for a rollerset.

Im a bit afraid of it. I will try it again in a few months.

Yeah, for me it was a hot mess under gel, I can't remember which gel I used but it was far too much. My roller set came out soft, no stickiness at all, I only thought to use it as a roller setting mouse because so many people use mouse for their sets, and I really didn't want . I used to use Lotta Body setting lotion for my roller sets, but I preferred the Spiked Honey Mousse by far.

Did you apply it all over or apply it section by section? Did you use less product for the roller set?

I would have applied it in sections but I would have covered all of my hair. I probably put the mousse on first and then added a gel. I probably used a little less for the roller set, I did make sure to saturate each section before rolling. Hair came out set, soft and well dried (no damp roots) and there was no stickiness.

I might give it another chance when I get onto WAGs again. I have multiple WAG products to use up, I want to use up my Miche products first as they don't seem to work as well for me as other products, I want to try the anti humidity gel while in the shower to see if I get better results.

I got sent the entire new Mielle Lychee line for review. My braids are still in but they are coming out over the weekend so maybe I can finish some things to balance out the stash.

I have been using products from one line so not using up a lot. But a couple of weeks ago I started rotating through shampoos. I won't use them up quickly but maybe at least I can get rid of 2 by the end of the year.

It is time to color my hair so I will use some products in the next week. I will do a protein, bonding treatment this weekend and probably use products from another line. This next week I will color and use a different bonding product and a different shampoo/conditioner.

I plan to use this produce line exclusively through June. I may vary things up after that.

I've decided to just post pics as it will take forever to type them all out. These are the products I need to use/give away/throw out, I know you can't see everything but at least I can list them as they're going.

There's other products but I'm not trying to use them up at the moment, I want to get through as much as I can for this year.

Now I've got that out of the way.....

I've used up:
Avocado oil
Blackseed oil
Cantu creamy hair moisturiser x 1 there's about 2 uses left

Given away the rest of:
TGIN green tea leave in, moisturising shampoo and triple moisture conditioner.

Pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner

I've decanted some of the Amika Frizz Be Gone shampoo and conditioner to give to someone to try.

I've decanted about 500g of the 1200g of the Osmo Deep Moisture Repair Mask.

I'm currently working my way through the Amika Frizz Be Gone set.

Started my hair color prep today so tried to use some things up.
1. I used my K18 today. I didn't use it up but I have only 1 more use left.
2. I did use up the Mielle Hair Milk
3. I used the Prose leave-in and down to 1 use left. I will use it as a mid-week moisturizer at some point.
4. And I used the KCCC curl custard to twist. There is only 1 use left in that jar.

In July I will start rotating through deep conditioners to use them up. Will look at what else I can use up this month.
