I just bought this stuff because I ran
out of Suave Humectant & Tropical Coconut
and wanted to try something new. They
were selling it for 96 cents at BIG LOTS.
I think it's okay for CWs, but I HATE the smell.
Its too sweet... I can't stand it.
I was nauseated!
I bought two bottles.... I think I'm just gonna
dump them both on my head and rinse it out
real quick... I hate throwing stuff away.
I should have know better...
just a warning for other ladies that don't like the "too sweet" smell.
I even wrote about it on my blog ;o(

I love it...not as much as the Passionfruit or the Tea Therapy but it wasn't that bad to me...sorry it didn't work out for you...
 
I totally agree!!! I bought some earlier this week after hearing people rave about it and the smell is OVERWHELMING...I walked around all day smelling like old candy, not a good look.
 
Oh my!!!:perplexed I thought everybody loved V05 strawberries and cream--it's my favorite:lick:..sorry, it didnt work for you.

The smell is very sweet. I still have a bottle I haven't finished from this time last year. You can always use it to shave to get rid of it. Or to wash makeup brushes.

I didn't like v05 strawberries and cream either... I traded it in for v05 tea tree therapy. I love the tea tree therapy!!!

Ooooo me too! It smells sooo good :lick:, and leaves my hair feeling so soft
 
I'm going to have to smell this the next time I see it in the store.
 
The smell is the exact reason why I didn't buy it.

ITA. I like the smell. I guess the good thing about it is, you dont have to order it on the net; so you can smell the bottle before you purchase it.
 
I never even thought to smell it...
its strawberries & cream...
I like both of those things
anyway... I learned my lesson...
I'll stick to my Suave!!!
 
I have the melon and it smells like candy...i stick to suave coconut also!

You could mix a lesser amount of it w/ a conditioner that you love and dilute the scent until you use it up or exchange it at the store.
 
When I opened it in the store an too a whiff, I was like "YUM!" But after using it for about a week, the smell started to make me sick. Too sweet! I have about a 1/4 bottle left. Maybe I'll prepoo with it (with a shower cap!) just to finish it off. I've moved on to Suave Humecto.

Lol, @ dumping it on your head just to use it up:lachen:. I'm laughing but I'm the same way. Hate to waste stuff. I can't stand that too sweet smell either and being strawberry scented makes it even worse, yuck!:barf:
 
Dh looks the smell of this stuff. He burries his face in my hair as though he can inhale it.
 
I like the smell...:lick:. I used this last night to detangle my roots...I used nearly half the bottle, but I don't feel bad because it's sooo cheap.
 
It wass breaking my hair off because of the lack of protein. Its just not consistent enough for co-washing. But, I'll tell you this... it makes one hellava deep conditioner.:yep:
 
It totally understand thing that smell too sweet make me physically sick :barf:. That's why I had to take back my NTM serum. :sad:I really wanted to like it! But my darn over-sensitive olfactory receptor neurons wouldn't let me.:rolleyes:
