Ok I just found 1wiry stray grey hair in the crown of my head and I am stressing!!!:confused::lol: ANyone else? will this multiply? I have all black hair. Im not ready for grey.

Girl, I've had those off & on since I was 13 and I always had a healthy head of hair. Dont think it'll hurt ur hair...just henna

I have 11, with one sitting right in my widow's peak. I am 24 :look:

At first it was horrifying (esp. as a college student ), but now I think it gives my hair (and me) more character :D

Well, honey, don't pluck them. They seem to grow back thicker. My boyfriend use to pluck his, and two would replace that one. He's has a lot of gray now from plucking...

Thanks for the encouragement! girl cause im 41 and too young for grey:lol:

No problem! ;)
I was freaking out when I had my first one. My sisters used to scare me saying I really was an old woman in a young girl's body like in a Stephen King movie ...

After years of the little buggers popping in & out, I learned to just cherish 'em when they come. I think it's cute now. However I pluck 'em out when I spot 'em! :D

A sistah just saw some and I'm 32:eek: I was already feeling old with the birth of my 2nd child and now this. Sigh....

So far I'm counting like 5.

I'm going to resort to dying my hair.:perplexed

Interesting! Never happened to me. This proves once again, people THAT U GASTA KNOW YA OWN HAIR....

Matter fact, lemme put that in my siggy

I have a couple. It really is not that big a deal. I don't stress because one day in life there will be so many I will not be able to just pluck them away like I do now.

I am 32. I really don't think it is anything for you to worry about.

i have some since i was a little girl maybe 10-15 strands

my sister is 19 and she has a lot

i think its hereditary so we really dont care, its just grey hair

Not mine. I have been plucking the same 3 for years now. That may change as I get older, but the more I get the more likely I will just color them.

I have one grey hair in the front, my mum says i have a few more in the back......... i dont care :look:

I call them my platinum strands.

Man. I got them joints all on the sides of my hairline. My HAIRLINE!! I wouldn't mind them so much if they weren't like the first thing you saw when you looked at me!! No matter what I do they're there. Whether i wear my hair slicked back or not. Can't hide them little buggers. So, instead of dying my entire head, or drying my hair out with hair dye in general, I just use my dried up mascara wand and color them in. Easy breezy japaneezy!!!

WonderWoman, you said what I was about to say almost word for word. There must be something about turning 13. And I recently started using henna, followed by indigo...and voila, the grays are a thing of the past.

I have a few that I pluck right before I dye my hair. I'm actually able to track my growth this way...I know when the grays come back, my hair is growing:lol:

I have a few that I plucked and they come right back! I did a Colourshine the other day and now they're gone. I heard stressing makes them worse! I don't like them at all!

I have one sliver strand on each side of my head and a few in the back. My mom said something about greying young is good luck. :look:

I don't mess w/'em. I just hate that the light reflects off of them really well because of their location. Ppl are always trying to pluck them for me.:ohwell:

I found my first one a few weeks ago. I was like what? Is this what I think it is? I cut it and just stared at it. I think I've found around 4 since then. It's weird...I just turned 39, so i know they will eventually come. It's just feels funny....like I have one foot in the grave.........

I have a few that pop up every now and then. I just pluck them with my tweezers and keep it moving.

Now when they start outnumbering the dark hairs, I'll be in trouble!

I have been stressing in the last year and about twenty seemed to pop up out of nowhere. I always had one or two since I was about six and my father has had salt and pepper all my life. My five-year-old has two already. They grow out of my head and are strong at that... so I ain't mad at 'em.

I just noticed like 4 of 5 around my hair line. I have learned to accept them. I have gained hella wisdom and strenght since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and I think thats what they came from. So I embrace them and keep it moving. Oh and Im 25.

I have renegade grey hair on this right side of my temple...not quite at the hair line, they are camouflaged very well, but part the hair wrong and they come out like a gang representin there set. I leave them alone...I don't want no problems. And then there is the one right at my widow's peak, it's always on display if my hair is pulled back. There are others throughout my hair...I don't bother them and we co-exist in peace.

MTG allegedly gives gray hair and I can testify to it. When I stopped using it, the grays stopped. I assume it's the sulfur so if you're using anything with sulfur in it, monitor the progress.

Yup, I'm getting them around my edges as well. The bad part is, I have my hair in braids and them suckers show through them!

Yes, I have about 4 in my hair in the front and 2 somewhere else :look:
