When you get a grey hair and your in your teens or early 20s?

Does it mean that's the oldest hair on your head because I refuse to believe it comes from stress! I know all of us have heard that it comes from stressing and I know it's a myth because this summer alone i would of had a whole head full of grey. I only had one grey hair in my life and that was probably it but want to know why?

When you start graying is mostly genetic. I started at 19. On my father's side of the family they gray early. My father and his siblings had some gray hair as teenagers too. Graying of the hair can also be affected by stress.

My hair started turning gray when I was about 12. I had a streak in the front, and eventually it turned dark brown.

This has been happened on and off for 21 years now. I think its all stress related for me.

In a few years I will see if my hair really starting turning gray. My mother started in her 30s; she's now 61 and 50% gray. My dad, however, is 62 and had NO gray at all.

Same here. Its not somethign that a razor or wax cant fix.

Its genetic...my dad started greying in his late 20s..so most of his adult life he had peppered hair.

No he is 70s and completely white but on the bright side he never lost his hair like so many men do

Yep grey hair on the va-jay-jay. No where else on my body. I found it to be very odd but never brought it up to the doctor. It started when I was 25, now I'm 28 and it's about 10-15 of them.

When I had found that one grey hair on my head I pulled it from the root, it hurt so much but felt like I had to do it lol
