There are essential oils that can slow shedding. Then there are specific shampoos and conditioners that are made for slowing down hair fall. Garlic is another good option. I even find that when I prepoo with an oil or conditioner, I have fewer shed hairs once I cleanse my hair.

ok.
You mean like real garlic?

Did you clarify before using Aphogee 2 step? Try mixing aphogee 2 step with neutral protein filler. Also, consider DRC- 28 by dudley.

Well, garlic supplement pills (they come in odorless too), garlic powder mixed into conditioners, garlic tincture (liquid) also to mix in conditioners. I used tinctures with great results. Garlic pills were effective too, but it takes consistent use over a period of time. Then, there are shampoos and conditioners that have garlic in the ingredients.

really? How many times do I need to use aphogee to stop breakage..?

Aphogee 2 step is a hardcore protein. Most people only use that level of protein once every 6-8 weeks or longer. You'll see folks talking about using gentler protein conditioners more frequently. Aphogee makes a protein conditioner called 2-minute reconstructor that I use every 4 weeks or so.

Just wondering if you had a moisturizing conditioning treatment immediately after using the 2-step?

details please.

details please.

Thyme
Lavender
Rosemary
Cedar wood

Combine any of your choice...add other essential oils for other benefits to make a cocktail.....

Mix into a carrier oil of your choice...coconut, olive, jojoba, almond, castor, etc. massage your scalp after applying the oil. Basically prepoo with a massage too, let sit and wash/style hair as usual. I also like adding essential oils to my DC and let that sit for a while before rinsing and styling.

This may sound random but you may need a trim. I find when I go to long without one I have more tangles, knots and breakage.

Really that is a new one for me thanks for sharing!

Yes, unfortunately low iron can cause hair problems.

I'm anemic and it has done havoc on my hair. I have had increased shedding and breakage. I recently gave myself a trim and I am taking prescribed iron medication. I really hope this helps turn my hair around. I wish I would have known this before I colored my hair:(
