what?!..lol after all that hard work and it took five years! oh my gosh, you are very brave..i would have left it alone!..lolIt felt great and I was very excited. I was tail bone length in 2012. It took me 5 years to get there. It was the little things that I loved. It hurt to sit on it but then I was like "wow....did I really just SIT on my hair?!!!"or being able to hold my ends and look at them without having to break my neck. Or having a bs length pony tail. The compliments felt good and people always asked me what I do to take care of.my hair which felt nice. It was alot of work though that's for sure. I co washed most days and would go through a 16oz bottle of conditioner in about 4 days. It took me 4-hours to straighten (I was texlaxed).
My problem was once there I had this "what now" feeling. I was so used to trying to get somewhere with my hair that once there I got bored and chopped it all off. Lol. Working on getting back to waist length now.
ETA: I just bc'd in August and my hair is about 2 inches long so I have a long way to go....again.
Yeaaaa......not one of my brightest moments. Lolwhat?!..lol after all that hard work and it took five years! oh my gosh, you are very brave..i would have left it alone!..lol
wow..thats how i feel like, even if and whenever i reach apl..it will never be enoughMy goal was mid back length. When I made it there, it was cool but it wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it would be. My focus quickly became, now that I've made it here, I wonder how long can I go? I guess it's a case of it's never good enough. I made it to waist length and that was cool too. I ended up cutting my hair due to setback. As crazy as this sounds, growing the hair and achieving milestones is so much more fun than achieving the actual goal (or so it is/was for me).
