Also if anyone is making their own conditioners/hair products please be careful with citric acid. My conditioners were in the 2.0 pH range when I used a tiny amount citric acid had I kept using it over time my hair might have fallen out and the conditioner had no slip! Without the citric acid the pH of my conditioner is 5.0 (water + BTMS/cetyl alcohol) so citric acid isn't really needed unless you want to make the pH 4 for some odd reason (5 is fine for a conditioner) and make sure you get a pH tester if you're going to be using citric acid in any type of formulation. My hair gets awesome slip now that I've stopped using citric acid
