Serious question. I have never worn a lace front but will try on a few tomorrow.

I want a full lace front, wavy or curly.

Do you just pony or pin it up?

How do you secure it?

Help :look:

I used to wear wigs to the gym. I wore plaits underneath. I usually wear glueless lace wigs or full wigs. I never had to use clips or combs and my wigs were pretty secure.

Thanks!! I do not wanna be booking it and the treadmill and my wig fly off lol

I've seen ladies in wigs at the gym. The one I recall seeing most often tied a scarf around her head/wig after putting the hair in a bun or ponytail.

I wear short curly lace fronts at the gym. It works fine, and I just come home and cowash my braids underneath.

When I practiced hot yoga I had no problem plucking that wig off, hanging it in my locker and tying my braids up in a scarf. I sweat when I workout and depending on what I'm doing at gym I have no problem taking it off. The point of the wig is less work not needing to keep redoing because I sweated it out. Every time someone sees me take it off they swear up and down that they cant. I'm not there to socialize but to do work.

I have worn a wig to the gym a few times (I would use bobby pins on the sides to secure it); I never had issues with it flying off while running or moving but that thing got too hot for me

I often see women wear them with scarves tied around them.

What's the purpose of wearing a wig when you re going to sweat ? If you lift weights maybe it's not a major issues but if you do cardio or sweat alot you don't need it ..
I would pass.

Wow even when I do weights I sweat. I do intense weight training. There is no serious fat burning with a freaking wig on smh...

meh. do whatever you want OP! as long as you're going to the gym, i don't think anyone will have enough time to be judging.

I know some do it but I don't like nor want to workout with a scarf on.

I'm scrapping the wig idea anyway.

My workouts are more important. I dont wanna look fly on the treadmill just comfortable.

Thank you to everyone who responded.

i work out in my wigs i pull them up in a pineapple and put a headband or scarf around it. if i don't want to be bothered i wear my synthetic wigs just so i wont have to wash my human hair ones.

All I wear is wigs right now was even at the gym yesterday Im wearing a full head brazilian with front bangs I just secure it with bobby pins and tie it and go my way. I've been going to the gym for a while and been wearing half wigs and full wigs since and it hasn't stop me from doing my workouts I have lost my 20 pounds

You know, I was thinking about this thread the other day... It's funny how no one bats an eye when the Williams sisters wear wigs/weaves while playing tennis for hours on end, US Olympic runners wear weaves/wigs while competing, people wearing wigs/weaves to theme parks on ridiculously hot days, etc... but people think it's crazy when someone asks how to wear a wig to the gym
