charmtreese been using this for the last couple of days and so far so good -- I had been applying to scalp after washing when hair was wet. But I'm now applying to dry scalp, makes hair feel softer/smoother without any greasy/nasty feel whatsoever. Thanks. (Awesome to dig into stash, not spend a dime and find a new use for an old product.)
Millcreek Biotene H-24 Emulsion With Biotin Phase 3

Everyone who suggested Green Magic -- any flaking, whitening issues (ala Nexus Biotin Cream)?

Only issue I had with it was I needed to wash twice a week or id have some buildup, but that's because I was using it daily. When I alternated with the pomade shops peppermint pomade or I only used it a few times a week I was fine.

charmtreese I have this in my stash -- applied a couple of times and was like "eh" but willing to give it another shot. Is it something that you have to use over time to see growth/thickness or is it more of a "put it on and stop shedding" type of product?

Sorry, just seeing the mention.

I've been using it a couple of times a week for about two months. I measure my hair monthly and I have had an increase of growth, but I'm doing other things for growth as well. I agree, it does make the hair feel softer. I put a nozzle cap on my bottle to help with getting it close to my scalp.

I realized after I posted originally that you were looking for a product in a jar. But I'm glad you were able to revisit a product you had in your stash already.

This is totally non-greasy - only reason I was looking for something in a jar was because I thought that they would be less runny, and less likely to weigh down hair.

Dr. Miracle took my edges out. It took months for the thinning to disappear. Granted this was back in 2004 so their formula may have change.

I just started using their strengthening treatment yesterday! I'm really surprised you had that result because all I've read was good reviews :(

Glad I stumbled across this thread…off to buy some green magic now. My hair is shedding like crazy and I can't figure out why. :(

I just received my N'Joy'sLong & Healthy Hair Growth Pomade. Has the same active ingredients as her oil, but in cream form. Smells minty :-) here's a pic:

Any feedback from Liquid Gold users who have been using it consistently for at least 4 months?

Also how you are using it.

I'm always leery of massaging oils/pomades in my scalp, tangles galore.

I applied NJoy's Long & Healthy Hair Growth Pomade last night. Definitely gives a good tingling sensation, smells minty with a hint of sulfur upon application. Scent subsides after a while. Woke up this morning and can't smell it at all, does not leave a greasy feel at all, and my scalp/hair feels pretty nice. It soaks into the scalp really well. I had flat-ironed my hair a week ago, so I did notice slight reversion during application, but after I tied my hair up, that resolved as well. I used my vibrating scalp massager following application.
