I thought the initial cut was okay, but the end style with the weird mousse and crunchy bangs was awful. I didn't mind the awkward stage, it was nice to not have to put my hair up all the time. The color they chose was very pretty though.

LOL...the comments in this thread. I think that cut is nice for that type of hair length and style. I wouldn't do it. Maybe she'll get some real highlights and put some blond streaks in the top. I dunnot, that stylist looked hungry to cut her hair.

I don't like it. If I'm getting a tapered cut...it's gonna be a full on tapered cut. Meaning the sides are going to be cut low, and the top is gonna have length. Her hair looks like she's growing out a TWA and she's at the awkward length stage erplexed

I get the look she was going for, but it wasn't executed properly. Africanexport and joulezy have edgy tapered cuts. When allthatsgold cut her natural hair she had a bomb cut as well. I see plenty edgy tapered cuts and b/c she has such an innocent/cutest face and demeanor I think she'd need her cut in a way where it balances that off. This cut looks unfinished. It looks like she tried to go edgy but didn't go all the way. It's not fierceeeeeeee, it looks like she tried to do something different but didn't go the full mile.

Shameless Maya was doing way too much with her reasoning (excuses?) for cutting her hair. It got really annoying. I eventually unsubscribed from her. I still follow Teaundra after she cut her long hair. She's much more likable.
