MISS: Shea Moisture Retention shampoo left me with dry tangled hair.
I am so done with this shampoo, maybe even all shampoos

Wash Day Hits!! [kiddies edition]
*shea moisture kids mango + carrot extra nourishing shampoo*
This is a great shampoo for little ones!! Soooo freakin gentle, AIDS IN DETANGLING, smells great. Just awesome. Been going strong almost a year now.
*aussie moist conditioner*
Baby girl can't get enough!! She loves the way it smells. Detangles like a dream, and is great as a leave in.
*mop top curly custard*
This is a great gel!!! Perfect for twists/braids, and a little goes a loooong way. AND it smells like candy!!! Or something you could drink...I've been tempted!

I have the whole set of SM kids for my daughter but I've never tried it on my hair. I have only used the poo on her hair like 3x (she's only 2.5 months) but I've used the condish on her a few times. I really like it. Its super gentle, but I was wondering about the protein in it but it hasn't been an issue at all. It must be a very small amount because its very moisturizing

My daughter is 5. I, well, SHE hasn't had any issues with the protein either. I also use the shampoo on my 2 year old son. I ran out of the conditioner a looooong time ago lol!

Hit: Shescentit Cutie Pie leave in. Amazing softening and detangling properties for my daughter's super coily hair.

Sent from my Snow White Frost Galaxy S4 using LHCF

Still loving my Oyin Whipped Pudding sealed with Qhemet Aethiopika butter. Super crazy soft and moisturized hair. Very little definition in my twistouts but I'll trade that for hair that stays moisturuzed for daysssssss

CONTINUED HITS
Shescentit Blueberry Cowash Conditioner - it's still my cleansing conditioner of choice! Still cleaning my scalp and hair well enough that you'd think I used sulfate free shampoo but with added benefits of overall softening
Kurlee Belle Thirsty Kurls Leave In - So I've finally used this long enough to know I REALLY like this leave in! The cream is not too thin or too thick, literally just right. It has good slip; the smell is a bit overbearing initially (strong hibiscus perfumey scent) but it dissipates and settles into subtle linger if you're manipulating your hair days after. Now performance wise, this bad boy is a moisture powerhouse for me. If I pair it with the right DC on wash day, I'm good until the next wash day. My hair is usually left really soft, smooth and moisturized all week...no major dryness in sight. My crown (driest area) usually stays ok to just needing a light touch up (tiny swipe of APB Ayurvedic Cream) by day 5 but edges, nape, and ends never waver and stay good throughout. It's officially moving to staple status for me.

Revisited Mega Hit: QB BRBC and OHHB! Sunday, I finger detangled my hair without any EVCO or EVCO based products. The only thing in my hair was the residual QB products and GSO. Why do I keep sleeping on QB? I think I get scared because sometimes it's hard to come by. Regardless, talking about nice moisturized and luscious hair :lick:

New Hit: Keracare Sulfate Free 1st Lather is the bomb diggity! Why did it take me so long to try the 1st lather out? Nice clean hair without feeling stripped. The real test will be using it with a EVCO based pre poo. I'll report back when I use it with EVCO. I've been running around with Ojon Pre Cleansing Treatment in my for the past two days.

Continued Hit: Keracare Sulfate Free Hydrating Detangling Poo. I think this is my HG moisturizing poo. I only have one more moisturizing poo that I want to try out of curiosity, which is the Chi Deep Brilliance.

On the Fence: Eluence Moisture Benefits Poo. My hair felt stripped compared to other moisturizing poos, such as, SD Go Moist and Keracare. Maybe, it's because it doesn't have Sodium PCA in the ingredients like the others. I'll try it one more time to make sure that I'm not tripping then I'll either have DS use it or give it away.

Continued Hit: SD Vanilla Silk Moisture Dream. You ladies, already know how I feel about my boo thang SD VS.

A hit: design essential chamomile honey curl custard, smooth, soft to medium hold, fragrance last a while in hair, on the ground at Sally's, reasonable price of $11 to $12 dollars. Used on sopping wet hair and sealed with MyHoneyChild type 4 cream. Results a defined twist out with defined curl pattern within the twist.

Miss:

Darcy's Botancials Sweet Cocoa Bean Curl Smoothing Cream.

It was awesome on my fully texlaxed high porosity hair. But it sucks on my transitioning more normal porosity hair.

So I tossed it :ohwell:

DoDo

Yea you know we are Twinzies. I wonder if the triplet divachyk don't like Darcys coco bean smoothing cream too? Hmmm

If so, another one to add to our list lol.

DoDo

My moisturizer list is slowly chipping away. The only thing that has blown me away is the Soultanicals Knot Sauce. Now that stuff is amazing.

I am not trying to be a pusha but a good moisturizer is that annabell perfect blends Ayurvedic cream...that stuff is the bomb.gov.edu I am just sayin'

Beamodel

I believe I remember divachyk saying that she didn't care for any of the Darcy's products she tried. I am not sure if she has ever tried the cocoa bean smoothing cream.

The transitioning transformation is so exciting! I just know you are going to have low porosity hair ! You will probably be able to weigh in with me and Beamodel and divachyk on products. The good news is you will need (not want ) fewer products, and you will take forever to go through products. Lighter yet moisturizing products will be needed (especially if you have fine hair) and heat may need to be used for deep conditioning.

Angelbean

That is my HG boo-thang moisturizer !

DoDo Beamodel EnExitStageLeft, cocoa bean smoothing cream and cocoa bean hair whip didn't work on air dried hair. I sold off both but had one backup of smoothing cream so I kept it. I revisited it and it's working for my flexi rods & roller set hair. Odd, right?

@DoDo

I was thinking I may go Low Po, but decided against because ACV rinses still work so well for me. Then again, it may just be my relaxed ends benefiting....I don't know lol. I'm trying out PuraBody Natural Muru Muru Moisture Milk again. Hopefully that works out.

@Angelbean

I have a jar of the ayurvedic cream. I may whip it out. @Beamodel pusha' pushed me into that purchase . Her reviews had my PJ itch a'blazin'.

divachyk

Hmmm, that is interesting. When my hair was lightly pressed it still did well.....pretty much nothing. I just had to give it up. I was getting no where :lachen:.

EnExitStageLeft

Love ya pumpkin. I only was a pusha bc I know your hair will thrive with APB Ayurvedic creams. That stuff is incredibly moisturizing (no joke). I'm blowing through the leave in sprays like water too lol. Keep us posted on when you try the cream

You're going to make me pull out that Ayurvedic spritz for the first time. I need to switch out ST kink drink anyway.

TELL ME WHY SO USED ALL OF MINE! :wallbash:

I found it under the sink with his shampoo and conditioner. Words can't explain the anger that blazed in my loins when I seen it lol. IT WAS MY ONLY BOTTLE :cry3:!

Ayurvedic Hair Spritz you say? Hmmmm... May have to try that especially in this heat where I'm at. I'm a sucker for Ayurvedic based hair products.
