^how did you heat style divachyk?

Ive been eying that smoothing cream..I assume you used it after the styling? Im even surprised you used it as I was made to believe smoothing wasnt good for lo-po hair.

FelaShrine, DB and I traded emails and they recommended these products to me for lo-po hair. I used smoothing cream as a moisturizer for air dried hair and it didn't moisturize my hair at all. I have been flexi rodding my hair weekly. I'm running low on APB hair creme so I revisited DB. I layered on vanilla leave in and smoothing cream (on dry hair) for daily moisturizer and it's a hit. I tried smoothing cream by itself and it works ok but layering on vanilla first gives it that extra boost. Vanilla is very slippery so I may try this as a leave in on wet hair. Layering on vanilla first also allows for the smoothing cream to apply on my hair easier and it soaks in better.

HIT! My new favorite SM shampoo. The SM yucca and baobab thickening shampoo and conditioner made my wash day. Clean hair without the stripped feeling. I'm excited to see if it's actually thickening like the label says. Time will tell!

Super Huge Hit!

Oyin WP to moisturize, Qhemet Aethiopika to twist and putting my hair on small rods overnight. Its currently Wednesday morning and my hair is still soft and moisturized from Saturday. I sleep with naked hair on a cotton pillowcase and did not spritz or anything since then. Im in love!

Hit: QB Burdock Root Butter Cream. Moisturized, soft, non greasy hair. I even greased my scalp with it lol.

Miss: QB Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee. Too greasy, I think too much coconut oil for my hair. It smells good though.

This is a super good Ends sealer too.:yep:

Continued HIT: Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab Thickening Growth Milk

I realized last night after pre-pooing, washing, DCing, etc, that I LOVE this stuff. I like it best on freshly washed hair, which is when I use it.

BTW, CVS has BOGO FREE on all SM products this week. Guess who is going to go get a couple more bottles of this :yep: I am using my last bottle now. I actually love the mask from this line too. I have never tried the shampoo.

This has officially become HG :)

cutenss I've been eyeing this stuff for the longest. I do like the Curl and Style Milk, I've always wondered about this stuff.

The shampoo is phenomenal. This is one line, where I've tried everything from (mask, conditioner, and shampoo) and loved it all!

Hit: APB Hair Creams on the Body (yummy soft goodness!) Mega Hit: I know this is a hair board, but my sister being 90% cancer free with two more treatments to go! Mega Miss: Hair Length Narcissists
Best and biggest hit ever. So happy for you and her. Praying for 100% cancer free update.

NaturallyATLPCH I am scared to try the shampoo. I have not liked the shampoos from SM. I like the Yucca line in particular, because it is not shea heavy. The Curl Milk, Smoothie and the rest of that line didn't work for me. Nor did the Raw Shea Deep Masque, or its shampoo. I may have to try the Yucca shampoo. I wish I could get a sample. I will check their website to see if they have any. This works for me because I have fine strands.

Here are my hits so far this month: Obia's Curl Enhancing Custard and Twist Whip Butter. The custard provides a medium hold and has a good slip to it. It glided on my hair after the twist butter application. The twist butter was thick, creamy, and has a floral scent. Soultanical's Knot Sauce was used as a leave(ongoing hit).

cutenss,
I think you will like the shampoo. It left my hair very soft yet clean. I have fine strands also, I think that's why that line works well for me.

One thing about it, if you get it from Walgreen's or even CVS, if you use it and you don't like it, you can take that bad boy back lol...

I surely did that with the Deep Treatment Mask.

Miss: Trying to put my natural hair in a friggin bun. I mean geez how hard can this be?

1. I tried it wet: Fail.
2. I tried it blow dried: Fail.
3. I actually ended up flat ironing it on a very low setting...somewhat pass.

This is the second time this week that my hair and I fought for 45 minutes. She refuses to even try to get straight. She laughs in my face as she curls back up into its natural state (which is why i stopped fighting her and my texture and went natural). But pretty pls just stay in a bun for two weeks so i can get past these meetings on wall street. *ok exits thread bc I'm talking to myself*

This is good to know. I picked up the shampoo along with another one. I think it was the one in orange.

HIT:
Obia's Curl Enhancing Custard (originally a major miss) topped with curl activator using the "Anthony Dickey Method". Wonderful, pliable curly kinks all over my head, in particular the hard to curl front and top portions of my hair. 3 day hair, too! I might have gone longer if it weren't for sweating so much at the gym.

HIT: Airdrying my hair in four ponytails with two rollers at the ends. I got my edges, roots and nape area pretty straight. The rest of my hair is wavy. This was a last minute decision because I was too lazy to roll my entire head lol

Baggying at night! Keeps my hair so moisturized. I don't know why I ever stopped. It's so annoying that I stop doing what works sometimes.

I only have to moisturized once or twice a week at the most if I baggy.

HIT:
Co washing midweek with my new boo - Herbal Essences Smooth collection conditioner (soft and moist hair)

Revisited Hit:

Country Life Maxi Hair (I always get growth with these vits)

I'm finding so many items in my stash that work so well.....

HIT - Alikay Naturals Mud Sud..... This is the bizz-nezz!

*Eden Body Works Coconut Shea Curl Defining Cream*
Peeeeeople. Listen. This stuff is pure magic!! Definite summer staple. I'm waiting to take my hair down (braids)... And I can't tell if my hair is still damp or just super moisturized. To me, that's a good sign.

Revisited Hit: Silk Dreams Razzberry Coconut Affair. Super soft and moisturized hair. Smells so yummy like a raspberry cake.

Hit: Annabelle's Perfect Blend Marshmallow Clouds Hair Cream. Smells light and fresh, soft moisturized hair, light hold for nicely defined twistouts.

Sent from my Snow White Frost Galaxy S4 using LHCF

Hit! My APB iced carrot cake creme as a styler. I used it last night to preserve my curls from the flat iron job I did and I love my hair today! Soft and moisturized! I'm seriously debating becoming a straight natural.

I love when people rave about a product I have *but haven't used:lachen:* I will definitely try it out soon!
