A new "Thermal Restructuring Treatment" described as:

A non damaging system to straighten your curl pattern, increasing hair manageability. Is fully reversible after eight washes, and is for salon use. They value the service at $250.00 and will pay $50 for my time and travel (Well worth it for a free hair style and I'm nosy as to what company this is...). They STRESSED my service would be done by a stylist that has over ten years of caring for AA hair I guess they got some kickback.

I'm a colored, natural 4a, with VERY resistant hair... So dis gon be good. I haven't liked my hair styled straight in all four years I've been natural, so I have high hopes.

My appointment isn't until June 5th so I'll keep you guys posted. I also have some researching to do, a member here said she just googled "Marketing research companies" and that's what got her started... Great advice. I have to thank her personally!

I'm taking a wild guess... They sent me the packet and this was the curl chart, see attached.

Identical to a famous AA salon brand that has the chart posted to their site... With the same description given by the marketing firm. Just reviewing this service for anyone interested.

You've got my interest sparked! I definitely want to know who the mystery company is. Sounds like a large company is trying to venture off into the "keratin treatment" market. $250 is right around the standard price for these types of services.
