Often we are looking towards the next hair length goal, APL, BSL, MBL. For some of us that may be 4", 6" away. Sometimes it only takes 2 additional inches of hair to meet maybe a styling, detangling or some other goal. While we are waiting to reach the major goal we can look forward to and celebrate the intermediary goals.

Other than a length goal, What can you do with 2 additional inches of hair? Finish the sentence

With 2 More Inches of Hair, I ...

What will you be able to do that you can't do now?

With 2 More Inches of Hair, I ...

  • would have a fuller puff.
  • could put the back of my hair into a banana clip bun.
  • would have some hang time with my twists in the front.
  • could wear more flat twist up-does without having to use 25 bobby pins
  • may be able to wear a nice Bantu knot out.
  • could extend my roller sets at least an extra day
  • could wash and condition in 6 to 8 twists
  • could wear a nice twist out without wearing a head band
  • could style my hair faster with more options

-will be mid back length!
-will have better looking wash and go's
-will probably get a trim
 
Will be full waist length and will feel more confident in down/out styles because my hair will finally be past my collarbone in a heat free braid out :grin:. It is cognitive dissonance when you know you have long hair but it still looks short to you :spinning:. I may even be able to pull off a damp bun without giving myself a headache once it dries and swells but that may be asking for too much.:lachen:

I could get the front of my hair into my bun. I'm three different lengths, smh. Chin length bangs, shoulder length sides and Arm pit length back.
 
With 2 More Inches of Hair, I ...

- will be scrapping waist length
- can do a mini 2in chop for a fuller MBL
- may decide my goal is HL :)
- will have a fuller 'no hair tie needed' bun


Editing for more stuff I'll be able to so
- will have a French braid that doesn't look limp at the end...and can wear them more often
- will be able to start doing braid outs that look full (occasionally)
- will be able to rock a braided side pony as a protective style
- will feel more comfortable with the fullness of my hair to wear it down on occasion

I will finally be done with length goals. I will just maintain that length. That's my dream length but these last inches have been the most difficult.
 
  1. ...Would be full MBL and properly below the bottom of my brastrap.
  2. ...Would be able to make a "milkmaid" crown braid with two pigtails instead of having to Dutch braid around my head.
  3. ...Would have a high ponytail that is full APL.
  4. ...Would be able to make some nice sized Odango buns (without a a bun cage!) for my cosplay.
  5. ...Would have pigtail braids that reached the middle of my boobs.
  6. ...Would have hair that covered my elbows.
 
With two more inches of hair I think I'd be waist length. Or a whole heck of a lot closer to it.
 
With 2 more inches of hair:

* I will have a fuller looking twist outs with more hang (that hopefully I can wear out)
* be able to wear my puff in the back of my head and still have it look full. (now it looks best on the top or middle)
* Maybe I will be able to do something with my twist, instead of just covering them up with hat until they dry.
 
I will be able to fit the front and sides of my hair into a ponytail (more like rabbit tail, lol).
I will enjoy hair around my face when straighten (absolutely can't wait for this).
I can claim APL in the back.
 
With two more inches I will be MBL. This would allow me to:

-Have flexi rod sets that are about APL-BSL
- Braidouts about APL
 
With two more inches of hair, I'd be really close to waist length. Argh, I'm trying to be patient.
 
with two more inches of hair, I will finally be able to wrap my hair around my foam spongy thingy to make a donut bun. :)

Right now it's more of a donut hole than a bun. :lol:
 
With two more inches of hair...

I would feel comfortable to start wearing my hair out more.

I think my WNGs would look fuller and sexier.

I'd be a step closer to having hair like the beautiful MahoganyCurls from YouTube. Her hair is everything!

With 2 more inches of hair the back would be past CBL and the crown barely NL :perplexed, but...

...it would look decent in a curl set for body
...it would have nice length for a cute straw set
...it could be pulled up without ripping out edges
