USE UP YOUR STASH 2014: Session 1

I used the motion heat style shampoo , leave in condition, and serum as I wanted to straighten my hair for the weekend. flat ironed it and put my hair into bantu knots.

It was Great! I found my heat styling staples.
I also used my olive oil replenishing conditioner as a deep conditioner under my steamer for added strength.

I tried to use the last of the AO Conditioner. I had mixed the blue chamomile with the island naturals. There is still a little left in the jar. I kept looking for places to put it on my hair but :nono:  I will use the last of it up next week.

Washing my hair tonight. Cannot WAIT because I hope to use up the last of my Jane Carter leave in!

Also hope to make a serious dent in my bio infusion conditioner mix jar. Then I'll refill it with a new mix of conditioners lol.

I've been a little hectic with work, so I haven't had time to use up much. I finished up my Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner and my SSI Moisture riche conditioner

This past Thursday I used up:

1) Carol's Daughter Macadamia serum
*thought it was a staple, but will not repurchase since my regular leave in helps with frizz for my roller sets. Don't need to keep something in my stash that duplicates another staple. I'm not one to have backups of backups.
2) sample size Carol's Daughter Monoi shampoo. Dried my hair out something serious but got it hella clean. Def wont repurchase and soooooooo glad it was only a sample!!!!!:bah:

Used up:

Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave In
Luster's S-Curl spray
ORS shampoo

I found a few items I didn't know I have after doing some decluttering. I added to my list.

Used up Oyin hair dew- not a repurchase for me at this time. It works well in the winter, but in the summer and spring it just sits on my hair making it too greasy.

I think I will replace hair dew with CJ smoothing lotion since it works year round as a moisturizer for me.

Ughhhhh I think I want to buy a Bobeam product. I follow her on Instagram so I want to support.

That will be my one cheat for this session. And that's it!

No product formed against me shall prosper!

Ughhhhh I think I want to buy a Bobeam product. I follow her on Instagram so I want to support. That will be my one cheat for this session. And that's it! No product formed against me shall prosper!

Used her honey and oats soap on Sunday...... That will officially be my poo. I finally learned how to use it right and I am not disappointed.

Nothing used up yet, but I should be using up something soon. I refuse to open anything new until then.

Okay... So I bought the Bobeam shampoo sampler and the coco honey & Amla bar.

So this changes things... But that's it for this first session! Nothing else!

Plus when I finally so my braids, the shampoo bars will come in handy.

My TMN orders came today, still waiting on Soultanicals then will be officially on a "No buy" till my stash really really go down. I may give some away since most of these products have expiration dates!

Used up DB Cocoa Bean Whip. Last one in stash.

Will be alternating between DB Transitioning Creme (3 left) and Oyin Hair Dew (half of 32 oz left) for a while. Opened up a DB Transitioning Creme.

Used up the Natty ACV Mist. I like it but will try to make my own version using a few things I already have. Throwing out the rest of the Island Naturals DC since it isn't enough for anything. I have 1 more use of the Dax Bergamot and Dax Olive Oil samples. I may use up something else tomorrow when I twist up my hair.

I am going to end up giving away a lot of my protein conditioners. I just don't need more than 2.

This wash day I used up the following:

1) SD Vanilla Silk Conditioner
2) Aphogee 2 step protein treatment (will repurchase a small bottle in 4-6 months)

Soooo I started on my daughter's hair today and noticed a funky smell with one of the products so I went ahead and threw both away since they were purchased around the same time. They were the last 2 on my use up list so I'm going to say farewell to this thread.

Good luck ladies in finding your perfect products while decreasing your stash. Hope to never meet y'all in here again so I'll root for your triumph from the sidelines. lol
I'm SO OVER my short lived "trying different products phase" and just ready to only focus on styling and retaining!!! I have products I love that work well with my hair and have 0 interest of trying something different.

*Moves tassel on graduation cap to the other side, adds in the ugly teenage duck lips followed by Chris Brown deuces then bows out*

Used up AO GPB. Not a repurchase for me- I've noticed AO conditioners make my hair shed more than usual and more than any of my other products.

Used up my almond jai twisting butter. I love this stuff. I will repurchase when I'm off my no buy
