Hi. Is anyone out there still doing the crown and glory braids regimen?
I have decided to go back to braids after 2 years with no increase in my length. Since I ended my transition and stopped wearing braids I have made no progress - I have tried all sorts! My hair is fine so I struggle a lot with split ends and thought that trimming would help - it hasn't. For a year, up until last August, I was trimming an inch every couple of months to try to get rid of all the splits but I still have splits!
My hair grew best when I was in braids for 6 weeks and in a donut bun for another 6 weeks. I was also blow drying weekly and using cones. I didn't have splits back then. I am going to go back to what I used to do, cones and all.
So, is there anyone out there still having success with C&G?
