I thought I had seen it all until I saw this in US Weekly. I had to look it up online to make sure it wasn't a typo.

Ted Gibson's Goodnight Replenish Hair Serum

Ladies would you ever pay that much for one hair product? Better yet has anyone ever used this to tell us what is so magical about this stuff that it retails for $200?

BTW the guy who makes this stuff is black, he's a well known stylist. Here is his website.

200.00:eek: ??

Now I know that I want my hair to be at its healthiest and longest length that I can achieve however, I would have to draw the line on that amount. My car payment isn't even that high !!

I would if it did the following:

1. Proven to grow hair to my buttcrack.

2. Protect my hair from meteor showers, lava, radiation, etc.

3. Bulletproof

NOPE! I would never.

Ted Gibson is crazy for selling a buch of essentials oil for that price!

Oh my goddness ! Well this one got Frederic Fekkai beat. At least Frederic Fekkai's Overnight Hair Repair is $195....a whole $5 cheaper

I actually use the one by Frederic Fekkai and I can't complain. After all the drama I've been through with my hair (severe breakage) I'm willing to pay any amount of money to keep it on my head. I do use it sparingly though.

Wow!!!

Ted Gibson charges $900 to style hair so I guess having the serum is a little cheaper. But D@mn!!! that is expensive. :look:

No way! No way! No way!

I'm still getting over my PJism with Ojon Product Line, PhytoSpecific Index II Relaxer and T3 Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Blowdryer and Curling Iron I have purchased in the last 5 months! With these, at least I see what the investment was for...healthy hair for the long-term.

Hey, I say GET YOURS Teddy Boy. To his clientele, that's inconsequential. Now for Lady P1, a LOT has got to change before I'd purchase it. At least they get 4 oz. lol!

LMFAO. I know right.

I would if it guarantee to grow my hair at least 2 to 3 inches a month. I know some of yall may think 2 inches a month is nothing but I only get 1/4 of an inch on a good month. Well maybe I'd pay that for as little as a guaranteed inch per month...

Please, $200??? There isn't no way I'm paying that much for bottle of serum. That is just ridiculous.

I wouldnt pay that much for a hair serum but I applaud Ted for doing his thang.....if I were to invest that much in a hair product I'm glad that I can do so with one created by one of us.

If I EVER, EVER pay $200 for some serum...it better flat-iron my hair itself and make my hair shine like diamonds, forget that :lachen:

the only way i am spending 200 on a product is if it is proven to give 2ins of growth per month... i dont care what is in it:look:

Heck of a NOOOOOOOOOOO, I could make my own for all that. I would have to atleast get a guarenteed 4 in. a month without a doubt!

I have to agree;)

I think it really comes down to the expectations of that specific buyer. For Halle, Alicia Keys, and Joy Bryant (just for example) 200 has the same impact as 5 or 10 of "our" (Average Black Woman) dollars.

50$ Miss Jessie purchases would confound another section of the U.S. population. And then, when you think globally, the 7 bucks we might spend on, let's say, hair grease, would seem berzerk when a fistful of free lard is available. LOL!!

His prices are right in line with what "they" (the rich) pay. I always thought Dr. Hauschka's prices were high. Bruh is taking it to the next level.

I thought this was about Ted Danson. I'm sitting here thinking I had no idea he was now a stylist :nono:

I was thinking the exact same thing :perplexed .

Seriously, for $200.00, Ted would need to do more than just my hair  .
