Entered a Contest, never received Prize. Now what?

So it's been over a month since I entered the Delux Magazine Natural Hair competition to win a set of Hydratherma Naturals Products. I sent them my shipping information (twice via email, once via facebook) but I have yet to receive any confirmation that my products have been sent. Does anyone have any advice on what the next step to take is? I feel kind of crest-fallen that after all that hype to get votes the fruit of my labor and the votes of others I still haven't gotten my prize and I'm beginning to wonder what's up?

Did they contact you first asking for the shipping information?

I remember on the voting page, there was some BS line saying that they will pick the winner on X day. But if there are votes...why would a winner need to be picked? The winner would already be chosen and they would only have to formally announce it or whatever. I voted a few times anyway but from the text, I got the feeling that being the top candidate wasn't really necessary to win.

If you did however receive confirmation that you're the winner....I'd take that ish to facebook and put them on blast. But I'm rachet like that so :creatures

Yes I did, they put my picture up on instagram saying congratulations and everything.

Amarilles I waited a whole week for them to contact me and they didn't, so I sent the Hydratherma Naturals website an email with my email and they said I had to contact DeluxMAg directly. Did that, got no response.


Then I hit them up on facebook thinking perhaps they'd see it, so they replied saying they'd been looking for me (because I was off facebook for a while) and I could send my address to the same email I had contacted before. Sent it, no confirmation email. So I sent my address via facebook this time, thinking maybe they'd write back but they didn't.

DanceOnTheSkylines maybe you could follow up by leaving a comment to their instagram post/picture showing that you won. You could say something like you haven't received your prize and want to follow up. Maybe they'll respond since it's been made public.

Actually, my Prize is a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

I dealt directly went Marie Dean and things were handled quickly and shipping and every detail of the transaction went smoothly.
