Anyone ever tried this or the BGA Protein + Strengthening Creme Rinse? I know a lot of us use the GPB.

How did these products work for you?

I was just checking out the Henna shine at Vitamin shoppe the other day. I almost got it but I thought since it is apart of their oily haircare line that it might be stripping. I didn't have a good experience with the GPB shampoo, it left my hair tangled.

These are both on my long list of "Things I'd like to try someday." Seems like they may be good for con washes or finishing after a deep con.

When I read the description online these sound really good since they are used for a final rinse but I'm not sure. The GPB Protein is an excellent product so when I get rid of some of my other products I may give one or both of these a shot.

Thanks for chiming in.:)

I would like to know too! I went online and bought almost every kind of AO conditioner in existance. I want to hear how this worked out? I have heard about GPB, Honeysuckle Rose, White Camellia and the Swimmer's cons. Any other reviews? I also wanna know about the Rosa Mosqueta, the BGA Protein, and the Egyptian Henna Shine Enhancing ones. Thanks in advance!

I was looking at the AO Egyptian Henna conditioner once, but like amina, decided against it since it did not look like it was made for hair that's prone to dryness. Instead I looked on the same shelf and saw a Henna shine-enhancing conditioner made by Nature's Gate. It's EXTREMELY moisturizing and leaves my hair strong and shiny. Love it :lick:

I know this didn't exactly answer your question, but I'm just throwing out another option for ya :yep:

Ooh! Neat, what's that one called? :-)

It's only 3.49 for an 18oz at vitacost. I might have to try this!

Do you use it as a deep conditioner or leave it in for a few minutes and rinse it out?

Well I bought it not really intending for it to be a DC, but I'm sure it would make a great one. I basically use it as my last conditioner rinse before I get out of the shower, so it's on for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Anything that I use for shine purposes I always leave till the last step, so I don't dilute the effects with another product (if that makes sense).
