I just bought one and love it, It supposedly improves skin and hair, anybody have experience?

I bumped a thread for you where the Nutribullet is discussed, although I'm not sure if anyone mentioned effects on hair and/or skin.

I know for me just with regular smoothie drinking I do see a difference in my hair, nails and skin so I can imagine the nutri bullet will be even better :)!!!! Glad for you!

I love mine and I see and fel healthier all over. My hair is growing in thicker.

Does it do really good job breaking down the seeds, stem and skin?

I use chia seeds in mine along with raspberries, and I find that the seeds don't break down as well as they say in the commercial. It is a wonderful and powerful little machine, though, and it does break down the stems and skin - like on grapes - very well.

I LOVE my Nutribullet. I use is almost daily. The purchase coincided with a overall better diet so I cannot solely credit the Nutribullet for my improved skin, hair or nails. I bought it in November. I previously had a Breville juicer and find this more convenient (and fun to use). I used a Bed Bath and Beyond 20% coupon. I highly recommend that you purchase it from them because they will replace it without issue if anything goes wrong with it. I had to return mine first because I overfilled the container and it leaked. :perplexed Then again last month because my hubby tightened the container so much that the sucker would not come off. Again, I brought it back and got another. I will not fault the machine for our errors. :drunk:

I see little specks of the seeds sometimes but it's not difficult to swallow nor does it compromise the texture.

I mix and match different ingredients but my standard recipe is:

Handful of fresh spinach, kale, or a mix of both
Frozen fruit mix (strawberries, mangos, pineapples)
(Some frozen blueberries if I feel like it)
Fresh banana half
Ground flax and ground chia seeds
Walnuts or almonds
Almond milk filled to max line

I make it in the morning before work.
Sometimes I opt for all fresh fruit

Be sure not to overfill

mshoneyfly It comes with a booklet of recipes so you have lots of ideas. I've been doing spinach, apple, pear, pineapple, banana almonds, and water. Or I'll switch out for whatever fruit looks good at the grocery.

I was wondering about this the other day because i swear my hair got a boost or something using this everyday

We have the Ninja and the Nutribullet and I must say by far the Nutribullet is easier to make smoothies and quicker to clean. I like the smoother consistency that Nutribullet offers so I usually add more green leafy veggies. Lately I've been adding a scoop of vegan protein and almond milk along with fruit (dates, bananas, strawberries, pineapple, or whatever is left in the fridge). This mixture is usually less than 300 calories and I feel full well into the evening when my cravings peak. It has been quite helpful to drink this a few hours before bedtime and just go to sleep.

that damn thing doesn't work. somebody was pushing it down while it was on. oh well. it was replaced for free once already.
