On the fence:

Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo - Pretty packaging and the slip is nice..but for a shampoo it really doesn't clean very much for me. My scalp is always itching a couple days after I wash and it never feels clean when I use it. It also doesn't really spread easily and lather so it's hard to distribute throughout my hair to get it clean. I'll try it again though...

Hit:
Naturelle Grow Mango and Berries Cleansing Conditioner - NG made up for the really not so great Marshmallow Root Cleansing Cond with this one! It was the new formula and had great slip! Can't say much about the cleansing nature of it though but it's alright for a rinse out conditioner. Doesn't leave any residue behind!

Hit:

OhSoNatural Hemp My Hair. Softened my hair nicely and added crazy shine (well, as shiny as my hair can get :giggle: ) How it made these naps shiny, I don't know. But I'll bet the bling on relaxed hair would be crazy insane when using this stuff. I want some relaxed heads to use it and post pictures, or at least report back on the shine factor.

Continued hits:
Mesh rollers
lottabody setting lotion
castor oil to keep set moisturized and minimize reversion for up to a week

Miss:

TIGI mosture maniac. - I've been experimenting as a leave-in, feels nice the first 2 days gives nice slips then makes my hair kinda stiff.

Hit: BioHair Care Moroccan Argan Oil line... Especially their leave-in. For my ladies who like to roller set on hair with no product (leave-in only!), I promise you won't be disappointed.

HUGE HITS

Hairitage Hydrations Soft Coconut Marshmellows
Feedback I left on Etsy store: My new staple moisturizer. My hair is low porosity so it takes a while to get moisturized and takes a while to lose moisture. Products tend to build up on my hair if not washed every 2-3 days. Lighter weight products are my friend. My hair has a love affair with Soft Coconut Marshmellows and my nose LOVES the scent. My taste buds are eager to try it but I am refraining! This product leaves my hair moisturized all day and then some. It is GREAT for my twist/braids outs which I usually do on freshly washed hair and the style left to dry overnight. The product has great hold and ample conditioning properties so that no additional product is needed the following morning when I take my twists/braids out. I used to apply 3 separate products for achieve what this one product does. It also doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy. Works great on day 2 twist/braid out and wash n gos as a re-moisturizer. I never wear my styles longer than that because I co-wash so often. I have type 3b/c and 4a hair. Works best on wet hair.

HydroQuench Systems The Slip - Silk Protein Hydrating Conditioner
This product is the BEST detangler I have ever used. My hair loves protein and loves this product but they also make a "light protein" version. It is great for my lo po hair.

HydroQuench Systems Coconut Mango Hydrating Mask
My hair loved it and it smell really nice. Great for a DC.

HydroQuench Systems Greaseless Moisture
Great product that lives up to it's name. Excellent moisturizer that does not leave the hair feeling greasy or oily. Great for lo po hair which builds up product on hair very quickly. Great to baggy with and do twist/braids. Good on dry or wet hair.

SEMI-HITS
These products I haven't had a chance to full test but I like them so far. Would repurchase as of right now but need to get a few more uses out of them before I can really tell.

Hairitage Hydrations Dark Honey Cleansing Conditioner
Smells like that pink soap in public bathrooms but it did feel like it cleansed my hair well.

Hairitage Hydrations Pink Lemon Berry Mimosa
Smells divine but a TAD more greasy than SCM. Not as great of a detangler. More on the hit side than the miss.

Hairitage Hydrations Mango Colada
Again, a great scent and more on the hit side than the miss side. But it is slightly thicker than SCM and PLM and my lo po hair likes watery products. A TAD more greasy than SCM but about equal to PLM.

Note: none of the products are OVERWELMINGLY greasy hints why I would repurchase them. I just touch my hair and my face A LOT. And I wear my hair down a lot in which case products that are greasy tend to make my face itch or break out.

HydroQuench Systems Botanical Peppermint Coconut Repair Mask
No complaints so far. Makes a good co-wash but it's just another of the same. Nothing stands out about it at the moment. I'm hoping it stimulates growth.

HydroQuench Systems Coconut Lime Oil
Well I really liked this before my Hairitage Hydrations products came in but I only used it about 2 times. I need to use it again. I think I was mostly in awe at how the product literally melts in your hand from a thick butter that looks like the inside of an Almond Joy to a very watery oil. It was like magic. My hair apparently likes both coconut and lime which are both in HH SCM. Too much of this product will make your hair greasy and there is a very fine line between "just right" and "too much". I feel like it doesn't last long enough. Probably would make for a better sealant than moisturizer. Which makes sense since its an oil whereas HH SCM is mostly water.

Misses

HydroQuench Systems 5-Day Moisture
Way too thick and greasy for my lo po hair.

HITS:

- NaturelleGrow Marshmallow Cleansing Conditioner. Didn't dry my hair out at all, in fact it made my hair feel like of luscious :lick: and got my scalp nice and clean.
- Shescentit Exotic Amazon Pomade. This stuff is thick and yummy like grease, without the sucky grease ingredients. Sealed the moisture in perfectly, smoothed my strands and gave my hair a pretty sheen. On straightened hair, the shine would probably be really good.

ON THE FENCE:
- Shescentit Pomegranate Curl Quenching Conditioner. This worked great on the front portion of my head, which is very fine, fragile and cottony type 4...something. Maybe 4c, since I'm pretty sure this section doesn't have a curl pattern. On my other sections --one is wiry, dry and coarse 4b; and the other is kind of silky 4a-- My hair was like "meh." Not bad, but not earth-shattering either. If it performed all over my head the same way that it did for my little 4c patch, it would be a definite repurchase.

tiffers

Thanks for posting your review of this mask. I was going to purchase it a bit ago after you mentioned that you bought it, but was waiting to hear how it worked for your hair. Off to Etsy!

Do you have the Pumpkin Seed Hair Whip? What did you think of it? I'm thinking of using it as a moisturizer. And have you purchased/ tried the Strawberry Hibiscus DC? Thanks is advance :-)

Don't go to Etsy, it's a bad, bad place if you're trying to be strong and not collect hair items. Looking at all those lovely ingredients in the hair mask tiffers mentioned...I've failed miserably :nono: (But my hair will be happy )

You're definitely one of my favorite posters cuz you're soooo funny! And you're right, I've come out of lurkdom to push products. So many wonderful things to be purchased, plus I like supporting black-owned businesses. I just want everyone to be successful. I've purchased from 4 different vendors over the past 3 days. Might make it 5 after checking out Naturelle Grow :-) Who doesn't love getting packages?

@drpeaches81

Thanks Girl:). You'll love NaturelleGrow. She has a couple stans on here and I'm def. one of them. Her customer service is out of the world good, best I've ever encountered :yep:. I love her DC's; I just used one tonight actually . If you do try it, let me know how it goes. I'm sure your going to love it.

And I'm the pusha, huh??? Thanks so much for the NG review. You have gorgeous locks, so if you trust them with the NG deep conditioners, then I can do the same. Looks like I'll be making it 5 Etsy vendors in 3 days. I'm on a roll!

drpeaches81 No problem, girly. You know us pj's gotta stick together.

I used the Pumpkin Hair Whip today as a hot oil treatment and my hair was sooooo soft afterwards. It's creamy and I love how it smells...like spiced pumpkin pie or something. :lick: I wouldn't use it as a moisturizer because it's just oils and butters. But as a sealant/HOT? Fantastic.

I purchased the Strawberry Hibiscus conditioner as well and will be using it for the first time on Wednesday. It smells freakishly good. Like, it don't make no sense how good it smells. :lachen:

You will not be disappointed, the products are full of awesome and her customer service is next to none. Fabulous. I can't recommend it enough.

EnExitStageLeft Oh, I get it. You don't feel like doing a bunch of typing and waste time trying to find the yummies. In that case, I'll save you the time, because I'm just a good person like that. Here ya go! BlueRozeBeauty Lank  :lachen: :sekret:
