IDareT'sHair I was hesitant too, and ended up pleasantly surprised and very happy with the outcome. I'm gonna order more when the mother's day sale rolls around.

HIT:

-SD Vanilla Silk on relaxed hair

(I had my touch up today and this DC melted in my hair. I will use this DC with freshly permed hair... And switch to something else when I'm 12 weeks post)

MGA2013

SD's Shea What Deux is my new Fav from this line on Deeply Stretched Hair.

Is it better than Vanilla Silk on the NG? Cause I need some DC for my 4-5 month stretch! Have you tried the avocado butter DC?? I want to try Shea what and Shea whet deux!!! You making want to purchase them before the Mother Day Sales!!!

IMO yes.:yep: In fact, it will replace VS for me.:look:

Rozlewis just did a review of it in the Steaming Challenge thread.

The Avocado Pudding is nice. I swapped what I had of it, because something about the smell turned my stomach.

Performance-wise it was nice tho'

lamaria211

You'll be pleasantly surprised.:yep:

It's interestingly thick, but it absorbs and totally moisturizes. For me, it has replaced VS as my #1 from her line.

From her DC'ers I'll continue to get Shea What Deux and Mocha Bling. And occasionally pick up, Chocolate Bliss and Vanilla Silk and refular Shea What.

Not feeling the Wheat Germ (like I use to):ohwell:

The last batch I had kinda just sat there and did nothing, so I swapped the remainder of what I had, and decided not to repurchase (for now) and it was a bit 'grainy' for some reason and the consistency was kinda just meh.:nono:

Looking forward in trying her New Raspberry Coconut Affair DC'er:love:

HIT:
Enjoy Instant Reconstructor
Affirm Positive Link Conditioner

Used to be hit, now MISS:
Suave Tropical Coconut Conditioner - as a cowash conditioner, it only works okay when I add half oil to half conditioner.

myronnie

Nice Review! And thanks for saving me some money!..

IDareT'sHair
Lol..you're welcome hun. They know they're wrong with that product..23 dollar whipped shea butter that isn't even whipped.. :nono: Do you have any good recommendations for a whipped shea butter with a good amount of yummy oils?
I was looking at hairatage or KBB's butter!

On the fence almost falling on to a Miss:
Naturalista Juicy Leave In Conditioner

This is basically just whipped shea butter. But wait IS IT? Because there are chunks of whole shea butter in my jar. Like really? So it's expensive semi-whipped shea butter..
It smells exactly like Claudie's Jojoba Cleansing Conditioner also!! It smells good and works like...shea butter.. I def will not purchase but I need a good whipped butter that isn't too heavy.

myronnie have you tried Whipped Pudding by Oyin? I like it!

Sent from my Speak & Spell using LHCF

OMG Hit:
Curly Kinks Coil Jam Natural Styling Gel - This was sold out everywhere for a couple weeks and I managed to pick it up during a sale on curlmart. I used it to do a twist out..first I moisturized with Claudie's, applied the gel, then sealed with Naturalista Juicy.
My twist out was great! Defined curls, very slight crunch, but I was reaaally heavy handed with the gel.
It's been two days now and my hair's been through a lot..gone to a concert, had hands in my hair, slightly detangled it, spritzed it with water, showered, slept without a satin scarf, AND STILL my hair looks NICE. I have never seen my hair look this nice style-wise! All I have to do is wake up, slick on some gel on my edges (I use claudie's for this) and run out the door to work! I can see why this is always darn sold out...it's great!!
I am still trying to find out how the freak I have definition still! :lachen:

Oh and no flakes or white spots!!! I forgot about that! :drunk: They need to restock curlmart during their next sale

HIT: Tresemee Moisture Rich Shampoo and Conditioner!
My hair loves it! And at 3 bucks for 33 oz, I am not complaining!

continued HIT:
Komaza Protein Strengthener
Komaza Califica Leave In
Komaza Pona Hair and Scalp
SCurl
Komaza Olive Oil Mask

myronnie i just ordered the naturalme whipped shea butter. They have different options of oil mixed in it. I got mines in pineapple, black coconut and hempseed oils.
I will let you know what it's like once i get it. I got it because of this tutorial from naturallygg. i think Haircrush has a review on it as well.

HIT
Cibu Spring Roll Hydrating Cleanser -- so lovely and wonderful on my hair! It spreads easily on my hair and leaves it feeling clean and moisturized. It doesn't take a lot of effort to work it into your hair like CJ Daily Fix. Spring Roll is a more of a gentle cleanser compared to Daily Fix.

Also the bottle is dark purple. Love it! lol

Hits:
-black tea rinse
-JBCO on my ends
-greenhouse effect

Misses:
-ACV as my final rinse (can't get past the smell)

HIT:

CHI Deep Brilliance Neutralizing Shampoo - first of all, because it's sulfate-free and second of all, it did not make my hair feel stripped of moisture and third of all, did I mention it's sulfate-free,

ronie
That butter looks pretty nice! The company seems really new; I tried to search for their website but nothing came up.
I'm thinking about trying Karen's Body Beautiful Butter Love..the ingredients look alright. Wish it had a bit more oils but that's alright..the ingredients aren't fully listed though.
From the website:
Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Jojoba Butter, Aloe Butter, Essential and/or Fragrance Oils, Grapefruit Seed Oil & Vitamin E
Idk if they Target ingredients are different..

If that doesn't work out I'm definitely trying Hairatage...
For now I just have to ration out the Naturalista :lachen: I wish Claudie's had a good whipped butter without any wax!

Hit:

Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream: :dead:......My hair adores this stuff. A little literally goes A LONGGGGG way and my hair feels softer instantly after applying...YASSS!

PuraBody Naturals Cupuacu Hair Butter: Creamy, emollient rich, coats the shaft well and can seal my ends like no ones business. LOVE IT!

Potential Miss:

HoneyChileHairLove Avocado Truffle Hair Milk: My dry hair laughed at this stuff. Its odd because my hair responded nicely to it before. Maybe I'll try it again as a leave in moisturizer under their leave in .

Claudies Tiffani Ceramide Pomade: Ok...I love this stuff. Its seals and smooths my hair something fierce. But what I can't stand is the super dumb stupid wax build-up it leaves me with. I started having cone build-up flashbacks, pull out the sulfate and benched it for a while. Its sad though, the stuff is good...real good:yep:.

Miss:

Going thru heat withdrawls:(. I've been tempted to use heat for the last 2 and a 1/2 weeks now. 2 1/2 months without heat is clearly my limit. Its ok though because shawty gon' swang come this Saturday :happydance:.
