Did you LOVE or HATE Caruso Steam Rollers?

Girl I love them. Had the unit for 2 yrs with no problem. Never had a problem with frizzy hair, mind you my hair is frizzy before I rollerset/flat iron. The steam from the rollers actually makes my hair feel moisturized! I like to use this with Bee Mines Luscious Cream moisturizer. Curls come out bouncy, shiney and alive! Love it!!!

This is exactly how I use mine: with the bee mine luscious. I always get great results.

I have been wanting to purchase some but I am texlax and I know my hair will revert with the steam and get all frizzy

I am relaxed and my didn't revert - as long as you don't leave the roller on the steamer too long and allow it to get wet then your hair won't frizz up...

I am texlax and I have no problem once I get my hair smooth and use these rollers.

I actually leave mines on for 20 seconds!:look: Mines never come out wet. Actually I found that if I left the rollers on the unit for like.....8 sec, my curl did not come out defined enough. 20 is perfect for me.

LOVE.

I use them daily - yes, daily.

I like the professional one with the ionic option better than the regular one. It uses less water and the steam is more precise, less damp rollers. it makes an annoying noise when using the ionic option, but who cares. lol

But, in a pinch I will use the regular one.

My ionic one broke and I had to ship it for replacement. So I pulled out the regular one that I have. It gets the job done, but I had really gotten used to the other one.

I never figured out how to get them to work without frizzing the ends. I still have them and want to figure them out.

I def am going to look into getting some. I like the fact that it gives you cursl quickly. I'm i'm going somewhere and don't feel like rollersetting my hair, I can use these in a pinch on air dried hair.

I am really developing a love/hate relationship with this site!!! I just bought me some caruso rollers after reading up on it last night, I woke up and first thing, went and picked some up....feeling guilty for spending the money but loving loving loving these bad boys!!!!

I purchase a set about a month ago and realized that they work best on straight hair (I'm natural and had just signed up for the No Heat Challenge :nono: no direct heat to make my hair straight). So last week I used them on my twist and they worked wonders! My curls last for days!!!

I. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE them! I have 2 units...just in case someone gets silly and decides to stop selling them. My curls come out big, soft and bouncy, just the way I love 'em!

Uh, did I already say I love 'em? :look:

NJoy how do you use them?...air dried hair? serum? butter? How do you ensure the ends are nice and smooth? A second set is a fantastic idea!!!!

wow I don't know how to use 'em! I've tried them 2x and all they do is frizz my hair. I'm natural and thought the rollers would add some moisture to my hair ... not.

Maybe I'll play with the length of time the curlers heat and some end papers.

I loved them when I was relaxed/texlaxed. It did a very good job of curling my hair and they were extremly easy to use. However, I have not tried them as a natural.

I love them on my hair and my daughters.

Sent from my 3rd child that doesn't talk back, HTC EVO.

Time to bump. I'm natural and I just bought one of these (waiting for it to be shipped). Figured if I have curls that last for days, it will cut down on manipulating my already fragile hair till it gets longer.

I'm natural and I use these sometimes. I don't get lasting curls with them. I basically used them to get my hair kinky straight. My hair stretches better with these than with a blowdryer with no heat damage. The curls I do get last all day just not for days like the manufacturer claims.
