You're probably taller than me. I'm 5'1.5" (found out about the .5 on my first visit with my rheumatologist in January, so I just have to claim it). I usually round up and just say 5'2" lol.

Protective styling was the way I got my hair long but I am so fickle that I only like my hair down. Looks like I better get braids or something so that I can have long hair like yours!

Your hair :notworthy I wish I had thickness. But I know that it is not genetically possible. Is it :look:
 
I like it! I love perfect hemlines like yours (no matter what length)!

I too prefer it around BSL/MBL. It is easier to detangle, renders better wng's/twistouts, and I just can't keep my ends looking as nice as yours past that point.

When I mentioned 'I'm one of the ones that has her bra strap in the right place', I said that because I remember years ago people were posting about people having their bra strap up to HIGH (just wanted to make sure I was clear). :yep:

Your hair looks fantastic! I love the new length. I really loved your longer length too but you have to do what is best for you.

Love it, loved the before, love the after. Your hair is so healthy Allandra, it was when you were relaxed, when you transitioned, now that you are natural too. Your cut is what is my goal for me, thick full MBL. Congratulations, it's truly inspiring.
 
I really love it. For some reason, it catches my eye more than the "crack" length.
 
I tell ya...you've grown your hair out ten times over and I'm still trying to catch up to your current new hair cut length lol.

OMG, it's so BEAUTIFUL!!! And lush! That's the beauty of growing hair out long. When you decide to cut back to a shorter length, it's nothing but lushness remaining. No thin ends or odd shaped hemline. Just pure deliciousness.

I'm growing out now and paying attention to know which length I'll eventually cut back too.

Thanks for being such an inspiration. You DID that! But then again, look who your stylist is. :drool: Congrats, Girlie! Fabulous!
 
it looks wonderful but can I ask you a question Allandra, so what happens, you grow your hair to the length that you think you want and once you get there you decide if it will work for you or not? and if not you cut it back to where you know you can handle it at???

I also notice that some when their hair gets longer they wash less than what they use to.

I am just trying to figure out what is the goal for???
