Just watched it and up until today I have never been able to type my hair. This video made it very easy to type my hair. I'm 4A! Say it Loud!
 
Wow that is my goal hair right there! Thick shiny straightened hair with a some weigh to it about it.

What is in the technique? I can get my hair straight and it moves but it is very flyaway. Its not length because even the girl with shoulder hair had the weight too.:scratchch

anyway, yeah, it must be the technique. she needs to open up a lil school and teach us or something.
 
I wanna say consistency with the same products over time will give you beautiful results like this. I know nobody on here is trying to hear that though lol, but it's something I've noticed on my own hhj.
 
I loooove reneice, between her, her sister, and all her clients i get motivated to continue my hair journey even more so. And she not only showed 3c hair that can get long and healthy but 4b/4c hair. And she showed them getting RELAXER straight. I think she does this by doing a really good flexirod set, which is demonstrated at one point during this video to stretch the curls.

I died and went to heaven watching that video the five (5) times I've watched it, so far. :drunk: OP, thanks for posting it! I'm currently BSB. When I grow up I want to do the Reniece Bun Drop/Swang on TBL hair. :spinning:
 
I swear I was coming on here to post the but someone beat me to it. lol It's a very good video. All that hair porn made me want to drool...just gorgeous.
 
And I've been sitting here thinking it is impossible for me to get swing straight hair as a natural. Every time I press my hair the ends have knots, they are dry and crunchy, they never straighten and my hair poofs before I reach the door. I don't press it anymore because of this. And I just don't understand the knots. My hair is weaved up 95 percent of the time...and still....knots and rough ends.
 
I just downloaded "The 5 Archetypes of Hair" on iBooks. This is a great video of how a salon is creating progress instead of setbacks. Going back to watch again!
 
Dang! Hair porn for real. She really needs to find a way to train more stylists in other areas seeing as it's hard to get an appointment with her.

Sooooooooooooooooo beautiful and amazing!

I have 4b hair and I gave up blow drying and straightening a long time ago because everytime I did either of this, it took all damn day and then ended up was just meh and looked pretty much the same, just stretched out. Definitely nothing close to silky or super straight. I guess it's possible then. Just gotta fly 10,000 miles for an appointment with Reniece:lachen:.


 
Someone please tell me how she flat irons so perfectly!

Also from that video I'm possibly not 3C at all, I may even be 3B with a bit of 3a
