That was so hard to watch, I would have started crying lol atleast it was only that piece.

I tried not to laugh. I think I read about some of those leave-ins and curling irons not mixing.

I have something that says not to use a pressing comb or high heat after applying as it will damage your hair.

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

I can't believe people laughed at that. I'm sitting here shocked...I guess heat really is the devil afterall.

I was expecting some funny reaction from the girl based on some of the comments I heard. She was just in shock. I was right there with her. It did seem like she held the curling wand in place for too long but I wouldn't have expected it come off in one piece like it was plastic. We all know what heat damage looks like... dry, split ends, etc. She got something on a whole 'nother level.

:look:she's a white girl and with those fine wispy strands she probably should have had the temp on btw 6-10....curlier, coaser strands even if they are fine to medium density can often take a bit more heat. I don't know anyone that uses the max temp on these irons that go from 1-20:nono: I laughed at this:lachen:

I couldn't laugh, I felt bad for her...her face was so shocked and hurt. But really, how did it come out like that? Like it was nothing, a piece of plastic?

Aww I thought this was going to be a grown woman she looks like a baby! Poor thing lol.

I need to know the brand of this iron so I can stay away.

that would be traumatizing for anyone. i didn't laugh at all.

it's like how felt when i walked in of a Dominican salon with SL hair and walked out with NL hair. i think my bf was confused as hell when i was sobbing into the phone.

I had to ask God to forgive me because I did laugh. This actually happened to me so I know how she feels but her facial expression was absolutely priceless. Bless her lil' heart...

You just can't help but to laugh; not in a mean way though. She released the iron, you can see her waiting to see a beautiful curl cascading down her face. Then this happened. Poor thang looked like she was about to cry. Her face is just priceless. And her video went viral too over 2 millions views in 3 days.

I'm shocked. I feel sooo bad for this little girl. I had that happen to me in the middle of my head. My old hairdresser put spritz on my hair and then flat ironed while it was still wet. It sizzled right off.

I was thinking about buying the iron after seeing shorty2sweets video using the twirl wand, but now I'm too scurred.

If that little girl had cried I wouldn't have laughed . She also uploaded the video herself so she must be a secure girl.

I was laughing at her response.

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

I agree. You nailed it. I know i am not mean spirited so i have been trying to figure out how is it that i can't stop laughing watching at the video. Had someone else posted it, or had she cried it would have made a whole lot of difference in the reaction. She posted it herself, and said that it happened in october. That means she is well over it, and her hair must be recovering fine. She definitely meant it to be funny. So i don't feel bad lmbo at it.

That was just awful! I did not laugh! There is nothing funny about that. She handled it pretty well. Luckily it was a small piece on the side that's easy to hide and blend in. Poor thing's hair was scorched and brown on the piece that remained:nono:

Yup, I had something like that happen to me when I was about 12. I tried to use a curling iron hot off the stove, like my mom would do, to curl my bang. I thought I could do it on my own and tried being slick and doing it right quick. That bang came smooth off. I was so shocked but didn't dare let my mom know. It is a shocking feeling. Funny after the fact. WAY after the fact.
