It is a regular occurence with me and the TSA. There are times I want to say let's have coffee and do lunch it is so darn frequent.

I automatically stop and turn around when I go through the metal detectors because I know what is coming next. Hair pat down. Does not matter how it is styled either.

Her hair is gorgeous by the way.

I had taken time to make it cute for the plane ride and she knocked it askew

I got the pat down because they "knew" I had bobby pins. I was told they had to check to make sure they were really bobby pins and not hidden weapons.

WAIT!! THAT'S Sistaslick in the OP? I haven't been spending enough time in this part of the board in the last few years! When I first got here she posted ALL the time. I didn't realize SHE wrote The Science of Black Hair Care. She looks so different with natural hair. Thanks for the clarification. I've actually been studying this hairstyle all day. DD will be sporting it for her upcoming skating competitions.
