Never thought I'd see the day. I took down my box braids and previously I had colored my hair. Now i know My hair does NOT take color well. I really didn't have any choice but to cut because some spots had completely broken off.


I cut all the long relaxed hair i had left and the pic below is all that i had :(

I just trimmed it up and will probably go to super cuts to get them to even it up.

I guess 2013 really is the year of new beginnings!!

Aww you have the perfectly shaped fro. Congrats on your impromptu BC. Mine happened that way kinda although it was at the hands of a scissors happy stylist.

Finally finished. I clipped the rest of the straight ends off even though I probably still need to go to the shop. Thanks everybody for commenting

I guess it's been awhile huh?

I did get banned....I got unbanned some months after but instead used the time to stay off the board and just live life, grow, and blah blah blah. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Biology on December 10, 2011.

I had Jaw Surgery on December 16, 2011. Was Wired up like Kanye for 4 weeks lol. I missed Christmas ham which was the worst lol. Lost about 10 pounds. I look totally different. Never knew it would make such a big difference. My mom thought it was a dumb idea but I absolutely LOVE the results. My smile is perfect and it helped my sinus problems as well.

In March I kinda defied my mom got away and decided to do my own thing. I bought a dog....my first pet. He's a maltipoo named Loui Vuitton who's very spoiled and sweet. I also met my bf who actually stood behind me and encouraged me to buy Loui.

In May I enrolled in an alternative teaching route program. By the end of August I became a teacher for high school biology students in an impoverished area. I enjoy it! I'm using this time to study for the PCAT since I'm still trying to get into professional school.

In the meantime though, I'm working on a Specialist in Educational Leadership. I love to have all my bases covered. Missed yall too. January Noir our birthday is in 11 days!! Can't believe I'm turning 25. I joined the board when I was 19 I believe.
