So yesterday I did my usual wash/deep condition. Since starting use of AOHSR my new growth and relaxed hair have been behaving nicely
I braided my hair but to my dismay I realized I had left some strands out:

What to do?? What to do?? I began to wonder what those strands would look like without the relaxed hair

Sooooo I cut it OFF
Results:
I am really starting to love my new growth. I always thought my hair would be hard and unruly but it has been so soft since I am using the right products. I am about 5 months post with no plans to transition. I'm considering this a long stretch. This is the LONGEST I have gone without a relaxer so it is exciting to see my natural hair as it evolves

Here's a few more photos:
and finally my hair journey so far.... 2010 - present
I can't say thank you enough to the women of this board for the helpful advice and tips. My hair has really changed for the better. I can't wait to see the lengths I will achieve in 2013

Feel free to add pics of your new growth (transitioning or stretching or wherever you may be in your journey)
