Has anyone tried the hair product she has reviewed on YouTube? It's called HairTeaz. I ordered this product after watching her review and noticed that she was listed as the merchant. When I asked her about it on her channel, she deleted the first reply and only replied to the second question I posted. She stated she was not the merchant and gave her full "legal" name. When I tried to reply to her post to thank her for responding, she had blocked replies. Hmmmm...

I really wanted to try this product, but am going to cancel the sell because something just doesn't feel right.

:lachen: :lachen: girl cancel ASAP. i wouldn't even chance it.

I went back to the site to look for contact information and there is only a link to email. I also noticed another change. In the policies section, it now reads, "All Sales Final". That was not there yesterday. I'm going to dispute the charges with PayPal.

I think you should. I try not to order from sites that don't have mailing addresses, phone numbers, etc.

Fortunately you went through PayPal.

The edenslapel.com website was just created on November 19. She mentions using the product for 5-6 months (got it from someone else) which could be true and they just started to sell online. The website was just created on November 19. Personally, I do not like to order from random websites and the yahoo email address makes it even more sketchy. At least have an ordersEdenslapel.com email address and a return mailing address.

I'm glad you started this thread. I saw the video the other day but something didn't feel right so I didn't order. It does make me wonder if I can incorporate tea rinses or tea as a leave in, maybe that would get similar results. Off to do some searching :fan:

Quoted from the website:
For those of you who requested more information about our company, we are based out of Los Angeles CA.Our names are Torriana Rene and Christina Ann Towns

I don't know why she was trying to fool you OP because she now lists her name on the site...unless the similarity in names is just a very strange coincidence. The way she reviews the product on her channel is very misleading...

^^It is very misleading. And they are a start-up and they are starting very rough. It may be a good product but they are too new for me to be a guinea pig.

I knew the text on the site was changing between the time I first looked at it and when I looked at it the 2nd time. When I looked at it the 1st day it said free shipping. When I looked at it later that message was gone and shipping was $8. :nono:

Buyer Beware!

For those of you who requested more information about our company, we are based out of Los Angeles CA.Our names are Torriana Rene and Christina Ann Towns We are 2 sisters who has been working on this product for a very long time. We will have a face book and you tube. We are looking for natural hair gurus on you tube to sponser.

it says her name on the web site

LHCF PIs in full effect.

Im sure I saw a thread somewhere re "hair teaz"

There are some things Im too lazy to make and will purchase, teas dont happen to be one of them

It dont take nothing to brew a pot of tea ... I'll stay with my teabags and teapot thank you

Im sorry but bad grammar and spelling on a professional website (especially when everything has spell check) is just unacceptable ... REALLY !?!?!!!

Ive actually not ordered from a vendor because of this:lol:

That was NOT on the website when I ordered. It just keeps getting better and better. I know her name was listed as the seller. Not the two people who are now magically on the website. The fact that she deleted my question from her page, then blocked me from her channel because I questioned ownership screams some guilt to me. I have yet to receive an email confirming the order, but the money has been debited from my account.

I have used coffee and tea rinses in the past which I made myself so the idea of it was intriguing. I just hate when people take advantage of trusting individuals.

That was not there until after I posted my message on her channel. The way the page keeps changing requires on to take screen shots to make sure you aren't losing your mind.

The site keeps changing. It changes throughout the day.

This is odd. The youtube review says she received samples and she is not clear on what herbs are used. She also keeps saying "they" and not "we".

The website says its her company (with her sister) and she has been working on the product for a while.

hahahahaha it is funny to hear her say "they are a new company" and "they are adding on to their website" knowing good and hayle well she talking bout herself.

They only offer 3 products. Why does it take 1 to 2 weeks to receive some tea? And why does it cost $8 to ship it  Is this new California tea? hmm, I might want some of that. :yep:

lol, she must be keeping an eye on lhcf...or maybe she's a member on the downlow..! She must know that word quickly gets around the hair community, and bad press spreads like wildfire!
AS for the site, using GoDaddy is easy, it's just a template hence she can change it as she wishes.

OP, sorry this happened to you, I hope you get your money back.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Girl they using those "herbs" that just got legalized in California so they have to make sure their supplier has enough on deck to fulfill what they need.

OP, I've never heard of this YouTuber nor watched any of her videos. But if the situation is as you described it RUN! All that just sounds real suspicious. Why not say it's her product? Mhhhmm....

they need to edit the website. In describing the benefits one heading is "Radiants and Shine". I assume "radiance" was the word.

if she owns the company her video is slick :nono: she like "i think the shipping might be this price" or "i think the product is called...oh i don't quite remember" also it kind of annoys me when people have their own product line and say "its the best product ever" Blackonyx got ripped a new one for this when she said her product made her hair grow a few years ago when she had spent 3 years on youtube talking about other products that helped her hair. Torridiana BEEN had thick hair and her hair is about waist length. Personally, I'd want to know what you did to get to that point rather than what you start using once your hair is ALREADY very long.

I really hope this issue is resolved and it's just a misunderstanding. Her hair is gorgeous and I think a lot of people would try her products just on the strength of her using them for several months.

The puppy or kitten in the background is killing me.

she said at one point she bought from the website after getting some from a strylist.
in the comments she says she was given samples for months.

shady.

She said she was NOT being paid for this review. That was in all caps on the page. She then responded to my inquiry that she did not own the company. She also said her name is Danielle Williams and her YouTube name was her first, middle, and last name combined.

I just don't know what to believe.

For $8.00, the shipping should be overnight.

Exactly. She told one story on yt and then another on the site.

She should know better. She's been on yt long enough.

Her response to me on her YouTube channel was its not her company. I better take a screen shot before she deletes that!
