I notice this line does not get a lot of mention on here. I have been using the moisture conditioner for a while and I would say it is the best conditioner I have ever used. Every time I take it to the dominican salons, they comment on it in my hair. They never use a cream rinse after - no need.

Anyone else into this line. They just re-did the line and now they have a protein line that I just purchased. Going to try it out this weekend.

I have been neglecting my hair growing routine for about a loooong time, and I am paying the price. Getting back on the wagon!

i havent used alterna is such a long time! i remember really liking the conditioner that came in a orange bottle. I did use the shine spray from the caviar line but didnt like it so it turned me off from trying more products from that line.

I didn't care for the caviar condish....it wasn't very moisturizing for me....and for that price, i expected my hair to have slip like a "slip n slide"

I LOVE Alterna Caviar products. I started with the little "experience" kit that has the shampoo, conditioner, overnight hair rescue (this stuff is amazing), and hair spray, and fell in love.
I also currently use a couple other products from the line: white truffle hair elixir, and photo-age defense.

I alternate the moisturizing poo and con with the ones from Fekkai's PRx Reparatives line -- it seems the new "repair" line from Alterna Caviar might be trying to emulate it (I notice Alterna and Fekkai often have similar products -- I read somewhere that some scientists from Fekkai went over to Alterna or vice versa, and many of the formulations of products are really similar).
I know the Fekkai PRx line is really good. Let us know how the Alterna one is when you try it! :yep:

I like the overnight treatment from this line. The rest of the items I tried were just average for me, but the prices aren't.

Wow. I am surprised so many did not find the conditioner moisturizing. I guess that explains the low turnout. It is very expensive I agree. But I will pay - at least for the conditioner.

Thanks for the feedback, ladies.

I tried and liked the Alterna Caviar line very much. The purple-ish bottles right?

I may revisit this because I used it back then and would straighten with a flat iron. I still had soft hair. Now that I'm only rollersetting, I bet I'd enjoy the results even more.

It is very costly. I have the white truffle stuff and am not sure if I noticed a real difference when I added it to wet conditioning. I didn't like the idea of letting it stay in my hair.
