what's the shortest amount of time you went b/w last wash and touch up

I normally do my last was 5-7 days before I relax, but problem is I have an appt to relax saturday and i'm dying to wash my hair tonight (sweaty) which would leave me with less than 48 hrs. Has anyone did this and experienced burning?

Less than 24 hours (cowash), many times. No burning.

sunnieb I believe she cowashes the night before also.

I normally try to do at least 4 days. 5 days preferably.

But I have cowashed on a Sunday and Relaxed on a Tuesday (same amount of time as you've indicated).

No Burning.

My normal hair days are: Friday & Tuesdays.

48 hours is the minimum amount of time (2 days)... That's what I have been told by Stylists. If it wasn't too late, I'd say call your Stylist.

I remember doing it a few years back: no burn, no issues.

Yep, I usually cowash the night before relaxing. Never burn. I need all that newgrowth loose!

Thanks! I'm gonna go ahead and co-wash. I'll try to avoid rubbing my scalp too hard and i'll oil my scalp good after.

I've cowashed the day of with no burning. As long as your hair is dry when you relax it won't burn.
