I liked MTM too. I read abt her bad business dealings though. I didn't know that it had escalated to gate levels though. Her hair was always so cute. I can't remember her screen name here but she had a great natural rollerset thread that I was trying to find a while back.

I know I'm waayyy late for this party, but this thread was quite comical to read. I remember all of this drama. :lachen::lachen::lachen:And the Adora Adora thread was really a hoot! I never laughed so hard at the comments but she made her case. I liked Adora Adora. Is she still a member here?

I don't remember all of the specifics, but Adora Adora came up in here on LHCF talking about how long her was and people jealous or hating on her about it or something like that. I think she wrote it in the manner of a question but with NO pics! That's a crime on here and boy did she catch it. She did come back much later that evening with pics cool as a cucumber and her hair was long and thick. I think that thread went poof! She later started the "Jeri Juice Challenge" and had many followers.

Yes, she is still here. She pops in every so often. I was a witness to that thread also. :lol:
 
This MopTop thing was funny from afar, but now that I'm thinking about it again, it makes me angry that someone could squander away a real opportunity by being dishonest. She could have the market cornered. People were so eager to support the business and to let it go to the left makes no real sense to me.

I think she has real issues. I am not being funny either. At least I hope she does. Otherwise none of this makes sense. Did she believe what she was saying? Or was she trying to cover up her lies?

Oh ok I did miss that one. I did catch the one where she was accused of having fake hair when she cut to APL and her ends didn't look fresh lol

I completely agree. If she were honest, she would have done really well.

The more I think about the situation, the more I believe there was something going on with her beyond just being a scam artist that we just don't know and probably will never know.

As angry as I can get about the situation, I truly wish her the best and hope she is able to get help.

Considering what I now know about her, I am wondering if she was really natural or simply texlexed/texturized and passing. It's fair to wonder, isn't it? Shame, though. I loved her blog.
 
I met her once last year and didn't know who she was. She had gorgeous hair...no, she had a MANE.

I was here for MTM gate.... For about 3-4 days I was immersed in the prime dedication of natural hair women who investigative reporting could have found Jimmie Hoffa! If that whole sad situation had any light to it it was two things : (1) yes you can laugh cry and be in utter shock until you wet yourself and (2) DON'T YOU EVER TRY TO PART A 3B, 3C,4A,4B,4C,4Z woman with her MONEY or her PRODUCTS!
