So the other day a friend of mine posted this tweegram about a girls puff

At first I wasn't going to say anything because I mean she's ignorant about natural hair but I just had to.

My main reason for saying something was not for myself but for others who are still on the fence about transitioning. I wouldn't want anyone's ignorance to make anyone feel bad about making a decision. I am an advocate for natural hair but I am not the type to stuff it down anyone's throat. I just feel that she had a lack of respect for those that were natural who do follow her. Am I tripping?

I have seen comments like this on my facebook too. I just ignore it. Some people are uncomfortable with their own natural hair and direct that on to others.

I find most of these people usually have super unhealthy forever at shoulder length greased down relaxed hair, so I just ignore it.

I'm not even natural but I still find it to be silly when someone compares natural hair to pubic hair. Seriously...get a grip

Exactly! Normally I ignore as well but I guess I was feeling froggy that day ... Smh

My friend was making like that to me when I told her I was going natural. I just put it down to ignorance.

When I first told my BFF I was doing the BC her exact words were "u mean like a dirty tennis ball?" I just let ish like that roll off my back.

What was her purpose of posting that? To make her feel better about herself for putting others down? She sounds like her man left her for a pubic haired chick like someone else going natural affects her.

Okay. Welp, me and my pubic looking hair will continue to grow with or without her opinion. :yay:

Y' know if a white girl posted a tweegram like that I'm pretty sure your friend herself would've been offended. and call her a racist

I don't blame you.

I would expect that comment from someone whose racist against blacks. Not from someone who is black.

WHAT?!?! The very race that tears down each other constantly and uses the n-word as much as a lynch mob??? Black women have the most opinions of how other black women should wear their hair compared to anyone else.

It doesn't surprise me at ALL and that is sad.

I don't get why y'all would get upset by a statement made by someone on facebook. And the startement was not directly aimed at anybody in particular. That statement could have been for someone she was angry at. It seems that a lot of y'all just love being mad.

I would've been a little annoyed at that on my timeline and I'm relaxed. I wouldn't have said a word. My deleting and blocking would've said it all.

Nah some people just like being b****es I swear and to be frank, it IS annoying. I have a friend I went to school with and this chick is forever talking about someone, to the point where I had to block her updates.

I don't get offended though, because when folks always feel the need to show their behinds, it's because they're lacking in some area.

I don't have time to worry about what someone else's hair or whatever looks like.
