 I'm sorry. But why so much? She's a white mom. I got this on my fb feed from chocolate hair vanilla care's page The mom wrote:

OK part one. I have tons of shea moisture curl smoothie in her hair and did knots. My plan is to release them tomorrow before church. I hope to see lots o curls in the morning. Part two to be posted tomo!

I'll post the part 2 tomorrow if she posts. I'm curious to see if it'' hold a curl.

People commented saying too much product is not good blocks hair follicles etc Then mom posted.

Oh boy! I thought it was more like a leave in conditioner/detangle product! We will see what happens in the morning

 Cute but funny to me.

Does she put that much product in her own hair? Leave in or not, that is an excessive amount. Is she really that clueless?

its no big deal. its silly lookin but when u think about it, its alot like deep conditioning overnight. I doubt it'll be dry by tomorrow & the style will probably be a fail but she'll learn.... hopefully.

She probably won't see many curls, but that baby's hair will be moisturized. The curl enhancing smoothie makes my hair too soft.

Usually that mom does great with her daughter's hair. We've all made an epic fail on our hair … luckily lil' momma isn't able to really get that her mom hit her with a whammy.

LOL. Good to see a mother trying. Too bad Happy Girl Hair isn't around anymore. Someone should send her a link to Beads, Braids and Beyond.

She's trying which is excellent. Apparently she did her research since she tried bantu knots. I have see some of own put that much product in their hair when they rollerset. I don't agree with it but she will learn.

I can't even blame her. I put too much of that sht in my hair the other night cause it was defining my curls so well. When I woke up, my hair was white. A little really does go a long way.

Po thang. But her heart is in the right place. And I can't say I haven't done it myself a time or two in this journey...

I've seen some ratchet 'dos on that page. I just laugh and laugh! I know I'm mean. One lady said she gets upholstery scissors and cuts the lint out of her child's head. Said its like Velcro and she has To cut it out. I'm like Noooooooo!!!! :lachen:

That's too sad, we need to start helping these poor babies

She's trying and i think its cute. Give me her email address and i'll email her myself....this wouldn't be a situation i'd make fun of but use more as a learning experience to help baby girl out.

ok, i just looked up the site. i remember this chick. she kinda already knows the ropes and keeps the baby's hair hooked up. Looks like one of her readers actually did that. Wowzers. I doubt she got the results she was hoping for.....
