I personally don't think ALL Henna is created Equal. I've read some posts where folks have said their Henna has been: Gritty, Had Dirt & Sticks in it etc....
So, be careful.
I only buy the one for African American & Chemically Treated Hair from Mehandi.com It is very, very finely sifted and rinses out nice & clean. Have never had a problem at all with it. Period.
What did you mix it with and what did you rinse it out with?

Just water, and then I rinsed it out with VO5. I only brought it because it was convent at the time, but the grit and sticks made me go back to jamila tried and true
