Henna... I don't get it

I did my first Henna Application last week.
I wanted my hair to be Black.
I got "Persian Black" from Wild Oats
I just used hot water and plain yogurt
It was super messy
It smelled like wet grass
and my hair is NOT BLACK...
What did I do wrong???

My hair was easier to manage
my products seemed to work
better after the Henna Application.

I dunno if I want to do i again...

Hmmm...sounds like you got a product instead of the actual henna. Henna is not black and will not color your hair black. Indigo will color hair black. Indigo is best applied after a henna.

There are many websites that carry authentic henna & indigo. Run a search on either, and you'll find plenty of information on both.
