The longer slightly healthier way is to lift two shades at a time it gives your hair a little time for recovery. Good lluck.

While I love the light look on you, all I can see is my damage from where I bleached, although i did highlights on top of bleach on top of dye, lol. Keep us updated on some styles! Your hair is pretty :)

I would think as long as you don't do any other chemical services (like relax or harsh keratin treatments) you should be fine. Stay on top of the deep conditions (like you said your doing anyways) and wear it curly most times and not to much heat.

I just bleached my bangs on Friday that just passed. I should make a thread. I think its Bleach season this year! lol

OP, I remember when you had to BC due to the blonde hair dye messing up your hair. I think this looks cute on you, but please be careful.

ETA: Your hair grew back pretty quickly!

yeah I figured if I just use organic natural products and no heat styling (I sold my flat iron and gave away my curling irons lol) that it would grow faster (retain faster?)

thanks for the tips all!

I am entering a contest and wanted my hair to be blonde quickly since the deadline is tomorrow

otherwise I def would've lightened over a longer period of time

PS I was thinking about getting a BKT but now after your post I'm scared lol @MsBoinglicious

I only say that because of the amount of heat they use to do the BKT. But I would still use Keratin though.

I love ApHogee Keratin and green tea restructurizer. I use it as my heat protectant (although its not advertise that way) I spray it on my hair (let it air-dry or blow-dry) then flatiron my hair. Or when I wear my hair "natural" I spray it through and bun or do a braid out. I always saturate my ends with this stuff which has contributed to the lack of split ends I have.

I bleached a portion in the front of my head in August (I think) and so far I haven't had any breakage. But, the curl pattern did loosen up after I straightened my hair a few times. So be careful and keep it dc'd. I personally prefer you with the darker hair but it looks pretty. Good luck.

Not bad OP, you wanted a different look and went all out. That's bold.

I'm interested in lightening my hair as well and will be using honey. :) I hope it works.

Glad you're getting what you want without too much damage and your video was super informative. Goodluck!
