Gosh her hair is just perfect and gorgeous as always! I love this idea and the way it turned out, but I would like to try it doing the bantu knots!

what are the ingredients for that Mizani headdress?

the rollers are avail. at target and CVS or Walgreens. I love that hairdress, it is so light and i have fine hair so it is perfect.

Okay ladies how do you do bantu knots? When I was WL I used to braid my hair in one big braid then take it down. Now, I'm heavily layered and BSL (got 2 inches cut 2 days ago) and I've been wrapping it and wearing it straight. I prefer styles with more body than just straight all the time.

Hi, what's this: "if the BKT . . . "?

Thanks.

LL

Thanks I figured that was the reason why I ignored it before. Macherie sure loves mineral oil moisturizers, Keracare Headdress, now the mizani one..yes it works for her hair! grr :wallbash: lol

Ok, I tried this last night but it came out looking like a rollerset (still cute though). I'm thinking it was because I did it on slightly damp hair instead of straight dry hair. Gonna make another attempt.

ok, so I went to the healthytextures.com site... is anyone on here a member, and is it worth the subscription fee? I'm very tempted...

Her hair is beautiful, and it was a nice tutorial. I thought her hair was too cute. I might due that next time I flat iron my hair. I think this could work on natural's too, although we'll have to flat iron or press first...or BKT!

Man, her hair has such a beautiful sheen. That is more encouragement for me to just keep growing and being patient. I've never tried that on completely dry hair but I'm sure a big part of the look had to do with her hair being MBL (not sure of the exact look).

I bought those things but could never figure out to use them. This gives me another reason to give them a shot. Big thanks to Macherie!

hmm... maybe I'll do that then...

Please post pictures of your results. I would love to see them.

God knew what he was doing when he blessed HER with that hair. Cause if it was OCO, yall would be sick of me. I don't know how I could stay humble. Her hair is gawjus!!!

When her site was free, was it much different than LHCF?

I would say, the only difference between her free site and the LHCF was the website layout. It looked pretty much like Tracyee's (K.I.S.S.biz) site. The only difference now, with Macherie's paid site, I think she posts everyday and has a lot more videos. Only on occasion, does she post videos tutorials on Youtube as advertisement to entice you to join her site.

You can also achieve this style with bantu knots... Try different sizes to get your desired look.

I usually do two in front and two in back. This creates a tighter wave. One at the top and one in back creates a looser wave. Make sure to use the same amount of tension so that it creates a uniform look.
