I agree but I was only referring to the no edges and thinning remarks. Her hair looks wet or something too which doesn't help. I really want to know where she gets her wig tho! I wonder about Kourtney because she has seemingly full/thick hair as well.

Kourtney also wears a weave/pieces..there are pics of her floating around actually getting it braided up and sewn on. White girls and celebs have been wearing weaves for a long time!

Yeah all races of women wear weave but a lot of people seem to think its only us. It's a shame that we automatically think if a black girl has long hair its probably a weave and if a white girl has long hair its hers. It is what it is. No one is exempt from the weave check.

This is true, folks do tend to go hard on people with thin hair - automatically assuming it must be thin because it's damaged when there are plenty of people who just have low density hair. I think YouTube/hair board gurus set our expectations through the roof for the average person.

I have thin hair too. When I wear it natural its not as obvious but when I flat iron that bad boy... Man!!!

DayDreamist, that's a very good point.

It does make you think: with the world moving toward faking everything, could it be that we are forgetting what "normal" looks like? We have become accustomed to seeing faces that are so "fixed" that they have no expression nor do they show a single line; boobs so perfectly perky that they don't move; salon fresh fake hair that knows not of "bad hair days"...and makeup painted on so heavily that the celebs might as well don a mask...so that when we see any of them being and looking normal, we gasp with horror coz what is really fake has somehow become our "normal". Kinda scary, eh?

I dont think her hair looks that bad. It looks like she threw it up in a ponytail without brushing it first. In 2012 it should be common knowledge that most if not all celebs wear wigs/weave regardless of race.

i had heard her real hair was thin and raggedy looking. she may not be able to help the thinning but sewing in tons of weave on fine strands can't be healthy and could contribute to mote thinning. all of the sisters are weaved up. funny thing i noticed is that black men tend to rag on black women with weaves and wigs but when the woman is white or other she seems to get a pass.....kk is a prime example.

It surpasses getting a pass when a lot of men/women don't even think that WW sport weaves/wigs.

Some AA weave wearers shouldn't get a pass if they don't make the effort to blend/match the hair I've never seen 1-type hair & 4-type hair look good on 1 head.

Honestly, Kim's hair looks like just about any other caucasian woman's hair....except the fact that Kim has been using hair peices and wigs/weaves for so long and for so often that her hair is probably a little thinner along the edges than most caucasian women. But it's not THAT drastic of a difference imo.

Now Naomi on the other hand??? Smh.......

We gotta start paying attention to what we see and not what we expect to see. White, latina, asian, etc chicks been had weaves and just as much as we can look bad with it, so can they. Amy on Bad girls club is a great example. Her weave is a horrible mess.
