Is this her without a weave or wig?

More pics from this were posted inthe Celeb forum. Her hair looks thin actually. You can see her scalp on the side in those pics. If anything her ponytail could be a hair piece, I suppose.

Her dresses are starting to look a little tacky to me...No comment on the hair. Everyone has an off day, and KK is no exception.

Her hair has always been thin and her edges have always been far back like that

she had laser some years ago and it just highlighted that area even more before she had all that ''baby hair'' to cover it up

Can't help but think that if it was a black celebrity with that as their real hair, y'all would be praising it. :giggle:

@Aireen why do you think that? Got receipts?

I know Naomi Campbell gets no mercy so I am not sure why you think folks are lenient to black celebs.

EDIT: Didn't say I thought members were lenient towards black celebs, not implying it in a general sense either. I'm saying if that head of hair was put on a black celebrity, the reactions would be different, not because of leniency but because of expectation.

Naomi's edges are non-existent, Kim still has something. Unfair comparison because this is a hot mess compared to Kim's edges:

OK, now I follow what you meant, and yes, what people expect will affect how they respond. Oh and posting Naomi wasn't really a comparison at all, but she's the only celeb that came to mind as having hair that was just not what we expected and my observation of how people reacted to it was how they react to any head of hair that looks great from day to day and then one day the truth of what it REALLY looks like is revealed to be worse than what we'd expect. I think the same surprise (disappointment?) would happen no matter what the race coz you kinda think that if we without access to the best stylists can have healthy hair, what's their excuse, yanno?

I actually think people are harder on any celebs than they would be to members on the forum. I remember when Tyra Banks showed her real hair, many expected it to be busted and in bad shape but were surprised it seemed pretty healthy...

...and appeared pretty full after it was set:

But I don't think everyone was impressed.

Then I remember years ago when a photo of Bey's hair was posted and folks didn't really wow about it...not because it's repulsive or terrible, but they're so used to seeing her with big bushy weaves that seeing her without was a bit of a surprise to folks used to seeing healthy heads like those of Allandra or Supergirl or FlowerHair or LynnieB, etc...yanno?

So anyway, yeah, I do think many people on LHCF are no longer impressed by length at the expense of health. So, while a few might actually just be excited about the length, there are those who have higher standards thanks to the gorgeous heads they see here...so that they don't give celebs a pass if everything isn't on point. (Oh but if there are some still of the mentality that we can't grow long hair, then any long hair will look good to them regardless of how bad its condition--so I can see where your point would come in. :yep: )

I just remembered another celeb whose hair we couldn't knock: Oprah

why couldn't she just have thin hair? Not thinning but low density. It looks normal to me. Not every woman can be blessed with thick full hair. I know I wasn't.

She can and thats fine. The comparison is what she looks like with her weave or wig. A lot of women try very hard to look like KK and this shows not even KK looks like KK.

I think she adds pieces here and there to supplement volume and length y'kno clips and those individual glue in things =\ trust me that stuff thins things of after a while *sigh* the price to keep up appearances

I agree but I was only referring to the no edges and thinning remarks. Her hair looks wet or something too which doesn't help. I really want to know where she gets her wig tho! I wonder about Kourtney because she has seemingly full/thick hair as well.
