Please tell me what hairstyle to wear with this dress?

Are you relaxed or natural and what age group are you in?

Tendrils are so dated, IMO... But I agree with an updo because the shoulder is busy. The updo depends on the above questions...

I will be wearing this dress too. My friend is getting married this summer. I am wearing my hair in a loose roller set pulled to the side.

Very similar to this

What a gorgeous dress OMGeee!!

I could see this with a nice full updo or a nice big bun, this would also go great with a chunky braid-out or twist-out. I think fuller looks would go best with this, honestly you could wear pretty much anything with that and it would look cute, but I think the models hair is a bit boring with it, I think the hair needs volume, like a bantu knot out, or the aforementioned styles, so thats my final ruling:yep:

I think any type of updo would be best, if your hair is a longer length. You want to show off the entire bodice of the dress, so hair needs to be off the shoulders.

This looks perfect. I think the dress as a lot of volume so a hairstyle with less volume will be ideal.

ITA...funny, when I first saw the picture of the dress, I thought low, full, side-bun...but I would make sure you wear it on the same side as the shoulder strap. And I wouldn't "dress" it up with any accessories because the dress, as someone already pointed out, is beautiful but busy and if you add earrings to the mix, you could end up looking like an ice-skater...:look:...

I'm just sayin'...

Have you asked the bride? I only ask since you mentioned "in" the wedding and not attending. She might have a look in mind already.

I love the dress! It reminds me of a Stephen Yearick gown that I almost purchased.

The dress is a bit busy so I'd do a sleek bun.

I am relaxed and I am 20

I think a modern undo would be lovely. I high bun, side bun, low bun...no tendrils or a fancy braid, like the goddess braid would look great (and youthful). If I have time, I'll add pics.

Here's a link for some braided styles...goddess braids, fishtails, side braids , milkmaid braids, etc...if you want to go that route.

Anyway, you get the picture. The easiest way to browse is to click on "archive" and look through the thumbnails. HTH.
