Ladies, I have an event to go to on Friday and I need a hairstyle. I have attached the dress that I bought, in black, below. I get a relaxer this Friday and I am now BSL. I think I want my hair to be down because no one has seem my length in about 1 yr :look:. But I still want something cute and flattering to the dress. What do you suggest? I have some cute barrettes with diamonds (cubic zirconia :lachen:) to put in my hair. So, what ya think? :ohwell:

That is a pretty dress. Is there a way you can wear a half upso you can add your barrets and half down style in the back so you can show your length?

I also think the style of the model would look good on you too.

I think the style of the dress calls for an up do. If it were me I would wear my hair up, loose and sort of sloppy (in this context just means not slicked together tightly) but still let it hang so i could show off the length. However, I am a fan of the sloppy white girl bun, so I'm a little partial to it anyway, but objectively I do believe it can look quite fancy if done correctly with the right earrings.

all of the ideas sound great :perplexed. I'm thinking more along the lines of a half up/half down style. I asked my DH and I already knew he was gonna say down, him loving long hair and all

i agree...
nothing too uniformed for this....
love the dress!

Oooo that's nice. I'd wear it down with some soft loose curls and maybe a sparkly pin to keep your hair out of your face.

Something simple, like an updo. The dress has great flair already, so you don't need to do much. Very pretty dress!
