Really? Dr bronners is the only thing I use to wash my hair. Way gentler for me than regular shampoo. I've never read all that damn fine print though. Looking at it makes me feel confused.

guyanesesista - you know, I've seen a lot of reviews that say it just strips the hair, and the Shikakai Conditioning rinse specifically says on the bottle that the soap is very drying so the rinse corrects that. But, given that it's recommended for skin care, I would think it could probably be used for hair. I never tried it because it dried out my poor baby's skin so badly. I sometimes wonder if I "gave" her eczema by using that on her (I know it's not logical, but I have major mommy guilt!)

I normally dilute mine so maybe that's why I don't get the stripping effect. Even when I don't dilute I squeeze a tiny amount because a little goes a long way with this stuff. I've noticed if I use too much I'll get that stripping effect.

guyanesesista - Yes, dilution is key. I didn't dilute the first time I used it on my poor defenseless newborn. Bad mommy  But even diluted, her skin was not having it. Of course, she had eczema, so her skin wasn't having anything, but at the time, I just thought CPS was gonna bust through the door any moment! Well, your hair certainly looks healthy, so I can't argue with results! (but check out those other uses too, I think this stuff is a miracle product! And so does Dr Bronner! :lachen:)

So much for love is free LOL

Hopefully they don't jack up the prices like Ayurveda did. The "love" in her gels was so expensive, she jacked up the prices three times in 12 months.

LOL. Girl you know damn well CPS wasn't gonna bust you for no eczema. I use the unscented one as shampoo, shower gel, and to wash nickers. That stuff lasts forever.

Girl, I am black and live in Harlem. White folk in the 'burbs can drop a TV on one kid and CPS won't even think about taking the other. Let that happen in the 'hood. (insert guyanese teeth suck here...) I know this is a whole 'nother post for "Off Topic" but this whole "taking away black babies" thing is really reminding me of slavery days!:look:
