And I been sniffing the damn thing like a frikking juinkie !!!!!!

First I was thinking my head cold was messing with my senses, but then I figured I just forgot to add a scent, because I dont remember doing so.

lol Thanks Miss T, now I dont feel so bad

choctaw which powders are u adding to your DC and which oil infusion are you using? Sounds good, I love ayurveda!

beautyaddict1913,

I have added amla and neem powders (usually no more than a heaping tablespoon) to my conditioners; then cover hair with plastic cap.

My ayurvedic oil infusions are home made:
*fenugreek seeds in coconut oil
*dried hibiscus flowers in olive oil
*neem powder in olive oil
*brahmi powder in olive oil
*Henna, amla, neem, Brahmi, maka and shikakai powders infused in blend of castor, almond oil, tea tree oil and sesame oils
*Maka powder infused in blend of Africa’s Best Ultimate Herbal Oil, Trader Joe’s Vitamin E oil, sesame oil and Bertolli EVOO

NjoiCreationS has changed the Green Tea Hair Creme - she has added soy bean oil and put the creme in a squeeze bottle. I won't need to repurchase for a few months though. I hope my hair likes the "new and improved" version.

Avaya That's Right! I forgot all about that!

Have you tried Hairitage Hydrations (Esty) Horsetail Hair Creme and/or Jojoba Hair Creme w/Argan Oil? They are both in Squeeze Bottles.:yep:

I wanted to change my order to Roots Nourishing Pomade, because I found another Jar of the Green Tea in my Stash, but she said she had the Green Tea Ready to Ship out, so I just said nevermind.:ohwell:

IDareT'sHair I've never hear of Hairitage Hydrations. I just checked on Etsy and I couldn't find it either.

Let us know how you like the new Green Tea once you try it.

beautyaddict1913

you are a mess! :lachen:

An alternative to making infusions is to buy concentrated ayurvedic oils (e.g. kesavardhini, mahabhringraj) and dilute the concentrates with your favorite carrier oil in an applicator bottle. I have mixed 25 ml mahabhringraj with 100 ml coconut oil and it was a good mix

pssst ... try Hair Veda CoCocasta oil for the bolded oil infusion ... I never bought it ... but the ingredient list sounded good so I improvised

Hit
Hawaiian Silky 14n1 spray
Hawaiian Silky gel activator
the spray really moisturizes my hair and makes it soft
the gel really helps my edges to lay flat and makes my hair and edges soft too.

HUGE HIT:

Darcy Botanicals Pumpkin Seed conditioner... Intense hydration and softness for days. Great detangling and curl definition; plus it rinsed away clean without weighing my hair down. its my new HOLY GRAIL moisturizing conditioner. I never thought anything could rival SE megasilk, but this has it beat.

For the sz and price, I don't feel this product would work for me. SE Megasilk line offers very big product amounts which is what I need being a thick, long 4B APL natural. SE megasilk is my staple:grin:

tiffers The hibiscus smells odd,I just can't place it but it's a little off...however the scent doesn't linger so that's a plus....Happy Hair Growing!
