I've been raving about that Profectiv Mousse and Silk Elements relaxer for YEARS. They are so ridiculously good! I don't understand why they aren't more popular, they're stellar products.

HITS:

-Camille Rose Moisture Butter. This stuff has rocketed to my staple list and it ain't goin nowhere. The softness. The moisture. Sooo goood. *drools like Homer Simpson*

-TLC Naturals Cocoa Shea Decadent Hair Butter. These are new products and I won sample sizes of the entire line! :woot: I usually try to stay away from anything with "shea" in the title because

1) My hair hates the stuff
2) I'm sick of seeing it in every damn natural conditioner/moisturizer/butter out there.

I would have never tried it if I didn't get it for free and I would have missed out big time. This butter is special. Don't ask me how, but it's not your every day, run of the mill butter. It's awesome. I'm going to be buying a few jars of the full size when my personal no-buy challenge is over. :love2:

- Mixing Camille Rose Moisture Butter and TLC Naturals Cocoa Shea Decadent Hair Butter together to moisturize. My hair just got the holy ghost. I can't keep my hands out of my hair. Srsly.

HUGE HIT!

Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha hair styling gel. From their website:
WHAT IS IT?: a medium-thick, yet slippery, naturally derived gel formulated for hair with waves, curls and coils...helps to enhance/define all patterns!
HOW TO USE IT: If scrunched into the hair it helps to give your hair definition, volume and bounce, and when smoothed into hair it can help stretch out the curls you have and add weight to hair to help elongate and define curls (Don't over-apply...less is more!). Also can be used for 2-strand twists!
WHO NEEDS IT: All hair types. For fine hair use less and smooth/scrunch/blot into hair. For thicker hair use more and smooth through/blot hair.

AVAILABLE IN: 16 oz. size, Fruity-Floral Scent

I'm a 4C-Z, fine-haired, medium volume natural. This gel really defined my twist out and a braid out. And the style lasted all day. I washed, DC'd and used KBB Sweet ambrosia as a leave-in. Applied PP and sealed my ends with Oyinhandmade.com's Burnt Sugar Pomade.

I don't know how it would work on a wash 'n go 'cause I don't do them. But it does what it says it will do which is define, stretch out and elongate the hair and it stays that way. I'd say that it gave my hair about 30% more stretch. It's clear and dries clear; no white spots are anything when it dried.

Hair didn't re-shrink during the day and stayed soft and smooth.

So, my go to styling gels are -

1) Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha
2) Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding
3) Donna Marie Curling creme

I bought this 16 oz. during CJ's 20% off BF sale. Wish I had bought 2. And aveyou.com on Facebook says they'll start carrying it by the end of December. Glad they will since they always have a sale.

As I Am leave in made my hair so soft and not weighed down. Only downsides are it won't last me as long as my GVP or Paul The Conditioner Leave In and it is more expensive when comparing oz to price. I guess I will only purchase if it is at least 25% off at Sally's:)

tiffers Hi! Sorry for getting back to you late...Having problms with my computer/internet (keeps freezing) it shut down on me Sunday & all the week..

Back to hair-I like ths B.A.S.K better (texture wise) because I dont have to use a lot..But,both conditioners work well at moisturizing & to detangle/The Pura I like too, just have to use more for my combo hair texture....

*Either way I think you have a winner....Keep me posted!

NEW HITS
--Knotty Boy Every Body Ultimate Detangler
Light texture, easy to blend into hair, great smell. A huge HIT for softer kinky/curly hair textures.

--Knotty Boy Peppermint Cooling Moisture Spray
Refreshing and tingling to the scalp. It moisturizes briefly. I could probably make my own spray with peppermint e.o.

--Knotty Boy Dreadlock Conditioning Spray Green Tea
Leaves a light scent and moisturizes briefly. It's a great ready-made conditioning spray, a little on the expensive side. The scent doesn't last nearly as long as it's advertised to last.

--Knotty Boy Liquid Dread Shampoo
Fantastic Shampoo. All it does is clean. That's it. It leaves behind a nice, longer lasting minty scent to the scalp/hair. Only a little product is needed otherwise it'll dry out the hair.

--Uncle Funkys Daughter RICH & FUNKY Moisturizing Cleanser
Cleanses the hair extremely well and leaves it slightly moisturized. A very well formulated product.

--Uncle Funkys Daughter RICHEE RICH Moisturizing Conditioner
It's rich, smooth, and creamy. It's kinda expensive esp if you're heavy-handed.

--Uncle Funkys Daughter EXTRA BUTTER Brilliant Shine Creme
Love it!! It's a water based creme so it's not heavy and oily. It shingled my hair beautifully...much better than any Miss Jessies product. I didn't expect to like this but it was the best product I tried in a very long time.

Golden75 It's based in the UK and the owner is really sweet. :yep:

The site is www.tlcnaturals.co.uk

You know, I thought my hair would be easier re dryness in the winter (rain=humidity?) but it's worse! It just soaks up conditioner. And I can't use my hair grease to seal (back to sweet almond!) cuz it's too cold. It clumps instead of melting in the summertime.

Don't know why I didn't think of the weather affects my hair products but at least now I know!
